Most classless fan base ever

I didn’t have the same experience. Went with my daughter and SIL. Had no issues while enter or leaving the stadium, just friendly ribbing from fans that were seated around us (sect. 38). Only bad, for the night, was the performance by our Vols.

I was going to say the exact thing. I went to a TN LSU game and they yell curse words at everyone, even their own team because that night we won. Really nasty fans
Crazy thing is I witnessed a small group of them in Oxford cussing the Rebel fans, I mean they’ll come to YOUR HOUSE and dogcuss you there!

If that's true, it's a shame. I've never seen it get any worse than just really rowdy and enthusiastic. I've never been to an SEC stadium that I felt like warranted a diatribe, and I've been to Tiger Stadium were they allegedly throw piss balloons at people.
Most people at most stadiums are decent. It's all about the sort you run into. I have run into the worst sort most often in Baton Rogue. I've never had a terrible experience in Gainesville, but I'm sure they happen, as they do in Knoxville from time to time.

Only fan base that is worse than Florida is South Carolina. They are both just awful.

That was nice of your buddy to take you, but you couldn't pay me to go to that cess pit.
SC fans were horrible last year. Don't know if that's the norm or the exception, but it was pretty rough. Not so much when we got to our seats, it was to and from the stadium that a vol fan could have gotten in trouble real quick. There have been times, when hubs has to work, that I wanted to take my youngest son (16 yo) to away games, I can't chance him getting hurt. It's a sad world we live in that we have to resort to name calling and threats of physical abuse.

Conversely I’ve been told by a friend in an SEC band that TAMU is the friendliest fan base fwiw

And yet none of it sucked more than our performance
Yep. When you lose, it's a dump, chitty fans and biased refs. It would be nice to just win a damned game in the swamp. Glad they're not going to be a permanent opponent anymore. One less guaranteed loss on the schedule. If you can't beat 'em, leave 'em.

Said on twitter he got a 3 year ban…he posted the video he took too. From Lenoir City😂😂😂
I wonder how that would be enforced? Seems like it would be easy for him to get a ticket and just walk in. I mean 102k people, it seems like it would be easy. Regardless, glad he got banned.

I went to a memorable UT Florida game at Neyland up in the nosebleeds and a drunk Gator shouted ‘You dirty Vawls.. kick em in the Vawls , the Hairy Vawls’ while laughing at himself uproariously, and did this for 2.5 hours and everyone ignored him.. then he vomitted on himself and passed out on the seats.. so someone went and got security 😂.. had this happened anywhere else,I am not certain that the outcome would have been the same 😂 He just laid there sprawled across that silver bench until we collectively decided we should help him or something lol
That's when you take his picture and create a meme about Florida fans, for future use.

I’ve been there six times and I will never forget the dumb-a@@, preppy punk’s that ruined all six games. I did get into one fight with a fraternity puss, I got my punches in before security escorted him out. The security officer apologized for his behavior. Oh did I say I hate Florida ?

Preach brother. I've been to alot of games over the years and the worst visitor fan treatment I've ever had was 2005 LSU, which was actually a Monday night but the effect was the same. Vols won though.
I know people who were there and said the same thing.. the LSU fans were also rocking the bus that the UT players were on.. it was insane

We didn't have any real issues but were deep in a season ticket section. Having kids with you can soften the comments though

I just found the whole stadium experience to be lacking and corny.
Season ticket-holder sections tend to be universally tame 😂 and the way to go with kids

I think Gators have toned it down over years, especially since they have sucked, they have been much nicer
