Most despised non-SEC schools

For me, Miami stands alone at the top of the mountain and it all goes back to the rogue, outlaw program that Jimmy Johnson ran at the "U." With the exception of Florida fans, I have never seen such collective arrogance as we witnessed from the Miami program during that period.

I understand the contempt for USC right now, given the situation with Kiffin and the fact that we have never beaten them. We're 0-2 in Rose Bowl appearances and 0-2 in regular season play. As soon as Kiffin leaves, however, my personal animosity toward them will be drastically reduced.

I do not understand the high degree of contempt for Ohio State, however, unless it is simply predicated upon the fact that Urban Meyer is now their coach. Plus, we are 1-0 against them.

Nor do I have serious ill well toward Michigan, except for the Peyton Manning-Charles Woodson Heistman fiasco. In our only meeting, we absolutely destroyed the Wolverines, 45-17. I have very fond memories of Jason Witten leaving their secondary in the dust during that game.

As for Notre Dame, the only things I really have against them are their independent network status and the preferential treatment the NCAA gives them in terms of participation in BCS bowl games.

oh and Wyoming

Why? I presume that you realize that we destroyed them twice (42-17 and 47-7 in 1999 and 2002, respectively) and then lost to them in 2008 because the team played like they were attending a funeral, following the announcement that Fulmer had been fired.

1)Notre Shame- Their douche fans are too much for me. And although we don't play them often, we've built up a pretty good little rivalry with them thru the times we have played. The Miracle in South Bend is one of my favorites all time. Nothing better than a bunch of butthurt ND fans.

2)The Ohio State University- my fathers side of the family is from East Cleveland. So I've heard OSU talk all my life. OSU can shove it up their ass just like ND.

3)Oregon-Look up "Johnny Come Lately Program" in the dictionary and you will see Oregon. They're fans are just dying to have some tradition and history to gloat about. But since they don't they just talk and talk and talk like they invented sliced bread. When in reality they are a gimmick team who gets the breaks beat off them EVERYTIME they play a smash mouth team. And I'm a big Mike Belotti fan, but he was no Chip Kelly but was a good coach. Oregon fans better get ready to take a step back to reality...as Chip Kelly's don't grow on trees.

4) Penn State- they have some real douche fans as well. Arrogant, northern, in yo face..."WE ARE....PENN STATE!!!!!" they scream it in people's face when tailgating and thru out the game. I will say....they may have the loudest craziest stadium atmosphere I've seen. Laugh if you want, PSU stadium scene is pretty awesome. I still hate them, and their arrogant pr!ck fans.

5)Memphis- they're no match in football, but I'm a huge baseball and basketball fan as well. And the fact that they feel the need to cancel the hoops series is enough to actually catapult them to the top of my list almost. Add that to their cocky trash talking fans and I've come to hate ANYTHING Tiger High!

1. Michigan: even when they suck, their arrogant fans (75 percent of whom attend other universities because they have no prayer in the world of being U of M grads) just preach to you about how much tradition they have and how they're the #1 team in all time wins. You know, despite fielding a team about 25 years before Tennessee and pretty much every other university. This, and their fans just suck in general. Much like their conference and their hole in the ground of a stadium.

2. Texas: see above rant except add in a "don't mess with Texas because Texas is like its own country, so yay Texas! " mentality. As stated by others before, most Longhorn fans are so ignorant of the world around them that seemingly half of their fanbase has never even left the state of Texas.

3. Notre Dame: it's very easy to hate a team that gets more national attention than any other program even in bad seasons. Overrated is too kind of a label for them.

4. USC: same as above except add in the overwhelming and obnoxious "we live in SoCal, bro" attitude. Half of their fans couldn't care less about football, yet thanks to being in L.A., you're guaranteed to see them all over your TV sets come September.

Only because trolls love to bring that loss up -- on the ESPN board mainly -- and they are to stupid to realize the fact you pointed out. I would easily replace Wyoming with Nebraska ( maybe I missed it - but nobody despised them yet)

Good point about UConn. Pat never did, and never would, air whatever dirty laundary was involved in her decision, but something was seriously amiss for her to cancel the UConn series. Pat never backed down from anybody when it came to scheduling the powerhouse programs in her sport.

UM Wolverines...Every since Saturn (GM) moved to Spring Hill in the 90's, I've had to listen to these Yankees talk about there Big Blue...I will never forget when i was younger, at a gas station when they first started coming down here. Two old men behind the counter were talking about the take over of our small town. When they noticed me and momma standing there one said " oh I'm sorry, lemme guess your one of them?" my momma said "don't make me jump behind that counter and smack you across the face!" right then was the first time i felt proud to be from Tennessee. weird i know lol but i will never forget that! boooooo big blue Yankees go home!!

Cool story bro, I would like to have seen her actually follow through. :)

While ND is a storied program, I'm sick of their fans thinking their just as good as anybody in the nation. I'm so glad they were in the NC so everyone could see the beatdown.

I can't really think of a program that I hate, I tend to categorize more by the most annoying fans.
