Thought this was an interesting perspective of sports teams. I completely understand TN, KY, and FL... but why would SC have such a big hatred of AL?
May be a graphic of football and text

How old is the data?
Even after all these years, Nebraska still hates Oklahoma?
The Oilers have that big a following over the Flames in Alberta?
Are Hawaii and Idaho both Georgetown?
British Columbia -- Seattle Sounders (soccer)?
Soccer draws more interest than hockey?
What's the logo for Prince Edward Island? If I had to guess, I'd say it was Minnesota Wild.

The GU is Gonzaga, which for Hawaii makes it a real head scratcher. Idaho I get, considering the close proximity to Spokane

The whole map is weird. Georgia and Louisiana are pro football when UGA and LSU are so prominent? Florida's is UGA with three pro teams in the state? All looks pretty random to me.

I assume Saskatchewan's most hated team is the Winnipeg Blue Bombers -- the logos I've seen don't look quite like that.
People in Wyoming must be happy; I don't associate Colorado State with winning.

Not sure I agree with the chart:

For me it's FL, but that's because I went to college in the 90s.

As for KY: I spent three semesters working at Lexmark as an intern, and every time someone in Lexington asked me where I went to school, the response was "I'm sorry", and it was the exact same response from EVERYONE (fellow interns from other schools, supervisors, people out in public, etc.). After a while it got old and I would respond back, "Why are you sorry?" to blank stares. Then I would say, "Can't you guys come up with anything else?"

As for NC: I worked in Raleigh/Durham for 15 years. Maybe other regions of NC are different, but not once in all my 15 years did I run into anyone with even a slight dislike of VA. In Raleigh/Durham it was a three-way hate between NCSU, Duke and UNC, with the occasional FSU, Clemson and USC thrown in. No one seemed to care about VA.

Why would anyone in TX or NM hate Philadelphia? Jalen Hurts is from Channelview, TX (just down the road from me). I literally don't know a person who cares about Philly.

As a resident of North Carolina and seeing UVA as the most hated team, I’d say this is the reaction of just about all North Carolina sports fans towards UVA

The most hated team in North Carolina is Duke or it’s split down the middle because Duke and NC State fans hate UNC.

While I don't agree with everything in the map, and clearly understand the hatred among the North Carolina schools, I think the premise of the map was based on hating a team "outside of the listed state". That said... I would still think some other schools would likely be ahead of UVA.

There's the exception of the Calgary Flames in Alberta (Edmonton's rival).

Falcons against the Saints has always been a great pro rivalry and I always pull for Florida whenever they play Georgia in Jacksonville.

Same division as the Dallas Cowboys, and currently leading it.

What about Indiana hating the Patriots?
The Cowboys/Eagles hatred between the two fan bases is intense.

Indiana & the Patriots makes me wonder if they’re basing it on the old Colts-Pats showdowns where it was Manning vs Brady. I’d also argue the most hated team in Indiana, overall, is Kentucky.

Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and then Uf & Bama tied. My first 3 won so many undeserved NCs because they made sure they never faced an SEC team.
