UK basketball fans have a hate for Pitino that tops anything I've seen from football.

I don't undestand that any more than I understand LSU's hatred for Saban. Both of those programs were complete trainwrecks, and these guys came in and restored them to their former glory.

I saw a comment earlier about Paul finebaum that got me to thinking. I know a lot of vols dislike him for being a Tennessee grad and not giving the vols love. We also have a hate for kiffin and dooley. Just wondering who is the most hated coach or figure that any school absolutely hates. Like does LSU hate Saban now, or Florida fans dislike Meyer? I'd like to know who is the most disliked.

My boss was born and raised in West Monroe Louisianna and is a LSU grad. Trust me their hate for Saban is on par with out Kiffin/Dooley hate.

What's the attraction? For no more than he's accomplished, I don't understand the love affair the media has with him.

It's because of what he did to Tennessee, he wasn't really a huge name until he snubbed us for USC and after that the media wanted to see what else he would do.

The man's just a lightening rod wherever he goes...one train wreck after another. And it didn't just start with him leaving UT, the episode with the Raiders wasn't all kicks and giggles.

He might get his career on track, but if so, he will owe Nicky big time. I'm still wondering why Saban made that decision...

Cant say I hate anyone in college football.

One guy at work garners my hate title.

I'm reasonably certain Mason just hit the top of the charts after today.

I don't know, buts it's amazing to me how much attention Kiffin draws. He's all they talked about during the Bama/West Virginia game.

they didn't let him on the bus ? I think Saban is all ready tired of all the coverage that Kiffin is getting

I couldn't believe how much coverage a offensive coordinator was getting off of TV,Saban had to go and stand beside him to get on TV :)

it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kiffin got a new job at the end of the year else where ,we all know that Saban doesn't like a lot of distractions

I don't think it's a love affair. Lane Kiffin will go down in history as the punchline of college football. And not in a likable way like Bill Clinton is to politics.

If you are talking about one fan base hate for an opposing coach I would say Bama's hate for Fulmer for turning them in. If you are talking about a fan base hate for a former coach it would be without question West Virgina's hate for Rich Rod. Go Vols

I don't remember that part.

I'm starting to think Saban hired kiffin to take the media heat off of him(Saban).

Hate is such an ugly word .. Its probably more interesting to think why would you hate another team or coach??? The answer is normally simple and has to do with your team not fairing so well against the ones you hate.

If Vol fans are hating on FL.... That's a good thing because FL must be winning.
