His interest has been gauged by multiple teams either directly or indirectly.

You sure do know alot about Pat Murphy. Do you know who's contacted him? Here's somebody else that people forget about: Ron Polk. There's no question that he will have a "payin" gig next year. The question is where? He may have one foot in the door of a nursing home but somebody will undoubtedly give him another shot.

If he says yes, the search is over and we have a coach before the College World Series and Mike Hamilton does not have get a 'recommendation' from Leggett and Corbin.

BTW, how hard did Leggett and Corbin laugh to themselves when Hamilton hired their suggestion.

If who says yes? Murphy or Polk. Leggett HAD to reccomend "his" guy, plus we all know Hammy's previous gig was at Clemson. Regardless of what Raleigh has done since he's been here, if Hammy really sought the advice of a rival SEC coach, that's an embarrasment to all fans and the university.

No more of an embarrassment than hiring an unproven mid-major coach has been.

I know Pat very well.

Polk should be nothing more than an advisor in this point in his career.
