Most likely Week 1 upset?

Mr. Connor Shaw. Local kid from Flowery Branch. I stated before that it would not surprise me if Shaw took the job away from Garcia. Shaw may not be the most talented but the kid is a very smart player and is a competitor. I really liked him coming out of HS (I guess this is where I say no homo)

As long as he makes good decisions with the football, I will be happy. Garcia will do that from time to time. I want a QB that will do it most of the time, at the least.

Weak, no way that'd be an 'upset'

I'm going with Baylor beating TCU.

As far as I'm concerned, you're the only person ITT that committed to the pick. Nice work.

Here's a cookie.

For it to be an upset, the spread needs to be at least 5 or 6 points if the underdog is at home. LSU over Oregon isn't an upset in any universe I know of. UGA is a three-point underdog. Wouldn't be an upset.

They are underdogs so yes its an upset..ESP GA..they are 19th and Boise is 5. Baylor was a 4 pt dog at kickoff you don't think that wasn't an upset?

Different circumstances apply to each game. For Baylor it was an upset because they haven't had any football success in a long time

It's been addressed that Sherman intends to run an overwhelming number of plays against SMU. I'm not sure what our average was last year, but we got to the line quicker than ever. Their defense will be gassed. I'm not concerned.

As for the frogs, they'll roll up the bears before the 2nd half starts. I expect a bunch of backups late in the game.

What??? That's not what you said. When a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked its an upset of some type. Some on larger levels than others but an upset nonetheless. Doesn't matter about past or present success.

Fine, we'll go your route. LSU is ranked one spot below Oregon. That's not an upset. Period.

A top 20 team beating a top 20 team is not an upset. Us beating LSU last year would have been an upset. TCU losing to Baylor was an upset.
