How in the world can a guy that's never set foot in any of the 3 major Nascar series be rated? He's yet to race against guys with equipment as competitive as his since he was just a little kid. Good Lord, the kid was on First Take on ESPN today. Anyone with the nickname "sliced bread" is not underated

like i said, with you, it's always an adventure.

He's overhyped, he may be Kyle Busch, he may be Casey Atwood, or he may be Reed Sorenson. Time will tell, I'll wait till then to put judgment on him. I'm just not sure his results are all that indicative of his talent. Gibbs has been with him for a couple of years so Joey's equipment has made him dominant. Still though, if Tony leaves Gibbs Joey will be driving Cup at this time next year. Talk about a fast learning process. But if you're Joey you couldn't ask for a better situation. He's with a great crew chief in Rodgers and he'll finish out the season with what's been the most dominant team in Nationwide this season.

Blaney was the man in WoO. much like JJ Yeley was the man in USAC.

never quiet could put together a solid Cup career but are good drivers nonetheless.

I haven't followed nascar as much since DE died has Blaney been on some good teams when they were performing pretty well

Blaney's had nothing to work with late. He drove great in a part time Bill Davis #23 car a couple years back. The Cat car is nothing special that he's in right now. Still, he's a nice guy, and a solid driver that you can count on to make you races if you're in a GOGH race

I don't recall him being on a top level team before, and Bill Davis has not been very strong since he had Ward Burton. I honestly believe Blaney could win a race or two with say Gibbs, Roush or Hendrick.

Doozer why do you think it is a driver like Steve Kinser never does well in NASCAR? Not enough time to adapt?

Blaney drove for Richard Childress before Bowyer was hired.

Burton didn't save RCR.

Harvick re-signed with the team under the assumption that RCR would rededicate themselves, which, among other reason as well, they have. Burton wasn't the savior, just a piece of the equation.

Harvick got hot during the Summer that's why he stayed at RCR. Without Burton giving proper feedback RCR would have never been able to rededicate itself

Yeah, I sure don't know what I'm talking about. Until you can learn to spell Dan Wheldon's name right I'll consider less of what you post

tnfan, i have to admit you are getting better at arguing/debating. That being said you had nowhere to go but upwards. However, you are absolutely the LAST person that should be busting someone on their grammar and spelling errors.
