Probably would have sucked anyways but 'The Forgotten' had one of the worst twist endings I've ever seen.

As for this thread, inspired by '28 Weeks Later'. Just watched it for the first time and enjoyed an hour+ of the movie. Then you see the end and all of it has been erased. Which is sad because the movie was really good until that point.

Edit: Try to list the movie without spoilers. Some people might still want to see the movie(despite the crappy ending) without knowing what actually happens.

House of 1000 Corpses, House on Haunted Hill and Thir13en Ghosts also come to mind.

Like the movies outside of the end.

Are movies really that hard to wrap up? I just don't get how some movies are so good all the way through until the end.

What I don't understand is the inability of some people to handle an unhappy ending.

Repo Men

Thelma and Louise

Great call on repo men. I have a penis, so I still haven't seen Thelma and Louise. I would like to add the last Raiders of the Lost Ark to the list. That just pissed me off. I know you guys will laugh, but I thought the end of Talledega Nights sucked as well. I was disappointed with the end of The Visitor, but it probably had to end that way.

The Prestige

****Spoiler****

I thought it was the most ridiculous writing. The transported man was a trick that worked because Bale had a twin. He tries to throw Jackman off the the trail by telling him "Tessla" and it coincidentally turns out Tessla has supernatural magic technology that will clone somebody so Jackman can do the transported man. So stupid.

Any horror movie basically.

Stephen King movies/books, specifically. Its like you think he's building up to something really cool and mind blowing, but then its a giant spider. Or Pac Men that eat the world.

Not a matter of "handling it." Wife wanted to see a funny movie that night to laugh. what she got was a tear jerker for the final 1/2 hr of the movie. = ruined by crappy ending.

Agree. When I think of crappy endings Stephen King's Storm of the Century is always one of the first that comes to mind. I sat there for 3+ hours thinking I was watching something amazing then the ending happened and I was just pissed.
