The Taken franchise

Really enjoyed all 3 flicks. Action was awesome, acting was phenomenal, and the twist that Liam Neeson was dead the whole time blew my mind!

If you see a long post about a particular movie that you don't want to have spoiled, dont read the post.

This is what I always do, though I can kind of see Huffs point. Its not like it takes 30 minutes to say *spoiler alert*. But I get discussing a movie and not thinking about.

**** it I'll just be over here on this fence.

1 and 3 were good. 2 wasn't bad I suppose.

no. 3 was absolutely horrible. Still the favorite so far for #1 of my worst of the year list. lucky for it, there's still a lot more I need to catch up on.

2 Was pretty bad too. 1st is the only good one.

San Andreas - 6.5/10 pretty solid performance from The Rock. Carla Gugino is aging very well.

San Francisco is destroyed.

San Andreas 8/10

The rock really delivered, usually I am referencing him as a wwe superstar during his films, this one he wasn't the rock to me, he was a father. I saw this at the drive in so it was really an awesome viewing experience. Highly Recommend.

I've heard Jason Statham was really funny in it.

Ever see the movie Homefront? I've watched most of his movies, even stuff like Crank and Crank 2. You go back to his first two movies, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch... amazing. The reason I ask about Homefront is because I watched it with a girlfriend at the time but I fell asleep during. She told me it's one of the best movies ever. I feel like I should really get around to watching Homefront. Just wondering how good it actually is?

:good!: Thanks for giving the spoiler alert sign there buckaroo bob.

MG gave up the details before I did but somehow I get blamed?! That's completely logical. Maybe you have him ignored or something and didn't see his post, I don't know.

I know it's hard for some people to understand here on VN but believe it or not there's some of us folks that still don't see a movie when it first comes out to the Cinema House or if the dvd has been released. Some of us still like to wait & not rush to view a good movie.

I normally try hard to avoid spoilers but my thought was that since MG did it first what difference would my post make? Now that being said, I just saved you almost 3 hours of completely wasted time, imo.

I'll definitely check it out. Her taste in shows and movies was different from most girls I think. She would resist at times when I tried showing her new things, like Dexter for instance. She hates horror and gore but she failed to understand despite being a show about a serial killer, it's really not like that. I had to re-watch Dexter almost daily after finally getting her to watch the first episode. But yeah, one of her favorite movies til this day as far as I know is Shooter with Mark Wahlberg. I had seen it before watching it with her and the reason I was willing to re-watch it because I had liked it and also, I didn't have cable or internet for a short period of time. Wasn't expecting her to think it's one of the best movies she's ever seen. It is a really good movie, it's not a bad choice to put in your top 10 honestly. Still, I'd say it's different for that to be anyone's favorite movie let alone a girl. So, her taste was solid. You just had to introduce her to what's good.

Speaking of good movies and Mark Wahlberg... I remember her rejecting watching 2 Guns with me. I watched it without her, loved it(the intro is hilarious) and she eventually watched it because she loved Wahlberg and Denzel despite originally not even knowing who they were. I bet if you asked her today who her favorite actors, she'd probably say those two. Not that it's relevant(like much of this post), she had never seen Forrest Gump before me either. I'd have to think movies like Shawshank Redemption or Goodfellas would blow her mind hole.

Ike: Countdown to D-Day - 3.5/5

Not bad for a made for TV movie (Originally aired on A&E, I think?) Starring Tom Selleck as Gen. Eisenhower.
