Have you ever seen the documentary Overnight, that is about the director? He is one of the biggest jerks you will ever see. I loved Boondock Saints but I'm glad this guy is not getting anymore work. He also doesnt get a cent from DVD sales or rentals. His friends hated him so much that his two best friends put out a documentary on how fame can change you overnight. Its a interesting movie.

Watched Rescue Dawn last night and really liked it. Slow in a couple parts but some good scenes

My wife wanted to go see Atonement yesterday, so we went. I thought that it was pretty good. The use of the score to connect various scenes as well as integrating the score with the live sounds in the movie was very good.

My biggest problem with the movie was the 1st act didn't spend enough time investing the viewer in the main characters' relationship. You could sense there was something there - and for a second there was something ... but as a viewer, I needed more. It made the 2nd act too easy to watch because the proper attachments weren't made in the 1st.

I do have to give kudos to either the editors or director for some of the filming in the early parts of the movie...letting you see events from the perspective of one person ... then another, without feeling like it was too repetitive.

I thought that the third act was actually interesting, and a nice way to end the movie (though I didn't read the book - maybe that was straight from it). Pretty good movie overall.

Yes they did. I had so many flashbacks to people I knew in HS and even of myself. I thought the various party scenes were done well also. Really hit the nail on the head as far as parties I went to in HS.

watched "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" last night. I've only read one of the books, but I have loved the movies so far. Supernatural aspects aside, it's a very well done coming of age tale.

That's exactly what everyone I know says when they see it. Everybody says "I knew a guy exactly like that".

I watched Apocalypto, and really enjoyed it. I've been wanting to see Sweeney Todd? I am dying to see there will be blood.

The movie with Jennifer Garner and Jaime Foxx where they're FBI agents sent to Saudi... crap I forget the name, anyways it was good.
