TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Suspended Alabama forward Tony Mitchell caused a stir in the world of social media late Wednesday night, as posts on his Twitter page said that he would return to the team.

On Mitchell's Twitter page, the following messages were posted: "To all my bama fans tmitch is goin nowhere #bamatilidie" and later, "I will be back."

When reached Thursday morning, a team spokesman said there was no official update on Mitchell's status.

...ehh. I was hoping this guy wouldnt come back either.

I think we'll handle Vandy. Defense has improved and we were never in that game to began with. If we stumble along the way, I think it's LSU.

I agree if we win out until the LSU game we may get to thinking that we don,t have to go all out. Complac

Ive kind of wondered the same thing. I see it being the hardest of all the remaining games.

UT is a better team now than they were the 1st time they played Vandy and the game is at home and UT is much, much better at home.

for example:

UK vs UT at UT=UT loss by 3
UK vs UT at UK=blow out

Bama should be the hardest to win of the remaining games.

i get that, but vanderbilt is a good team and we just dont match up well with them IMO. i guess they just scare me more, i dont really know why, i dont see there upper class heavy lineup being rattled maybe thats why.

i dont know hopefully im wrong i would love to pay them back.
