folks are hoping you match the ARK hire. If he doesnt speak by this time next week are we back to Gruden?

I think I am starting to get grey hair from all of this waiting and waiting and waiting. Is Hart just pulling some sort of cruel joke?

If Arky landed Bielema and were supposedy talking to Pelini I'll be pissed. Yah lets go hire the coach thats team just got murdered by the team tht was coached by the new Arky coach.
And I don't have the faith some do in the longer it takes to better for gruden stuff. Hart let alot of people in the AD know throughout the year he wanted to hire Smart if he had to replace Dooley. So for me the longer this search, then the more likely it is hes intentionally botching these interviews so he can get us to drop to Smart. Then he can come out and say that he tried his hardest to get a better coach but he couldn't land them for (insert bs excuse) reasons and the best left was his Bama buddy Smart.

Hopefully something will break soon. All the other schools are making moves and we seem stuck in the mud. I just hope all the wait is worth that time spent STALKING THIS BOARD lol.......

Well, he is taking his time. If UT is truly the best Job out there (and I believe it is), Hart doesn't have to offer everyone and quickly. The hottest chick at the dance doesn't have to say yes and leave the bar with the first guy she talks too. As long as we keep the state of the recruiting time line in mind, Hart is doing the right thing. While our fans are starting to look a little desperate, everything indicates that Hart is following a systemic, planned approach which included talking to some people this week in NY. He shouldn't make a decision until he has all the interviews he wants. This of course does not factor in "the Guy". If Hart had a coach that he was absolutely sure about, then he should hire him when the opportunity presents. I don't think BB was "the guy" for Arky, I think he was the best of what they thought they could get and they were getting a little desperate, worried that AUB and UT would leave them without a good option.

If it is Smart there ain't a darn thing you can do about it. At least he was a coordinator and not a skill position coach. DD was never a coordinator at any level. Strong, Muschamp, Fisher, and Malzone seem to be doing fine.
