My multiple degrees attest to the fact that I am not a moron, so I will play devil's advocate on this point. Given the opportunity to fully implement their respective systems at Arkansas and Tennessee, Bielema may or may not ultimately prove to be better than Strong; the Wisconsin skipper, however, is clearly more proven and in a more highly regarded conference. Strong, on the other hand, is far more familiar with the SEC landscape, both as a defensive-oriented coach, something that we desperately need, and as a recruiter. His extensive contacts in Florida would, undoubtedly, pay huge dividends on the recruiting trail. We all know that the Tennesse position, given the weak instate recruiting base, requires equal parts coaching expertise and success in recruiting on a regional and even national basis.
