Mr. Trojan Tee Martin.....

Look great or not is not what college football is about. It is the result on the field and both did what it took and that is something that we haven't had in a while; doing what it took, not just what was asked of you.

I agree with that, but being a QB coach, you need to be able to teach QB mechanics. Im very thankful for Tee and what he did for UT and im happy for him

You're right, he shouldn't have taken a Job at a top program after we didn't contact him. Tee busted his a$$ at UT, fans need to get over it. Bunch of overly sensitive butthurt babies.

Peyton's an orange bleeder through and through. Tee's coaching for one of the most hated men (don't know how deserving) in UT history. Big difference.

Are you butthurt?

Just annoyed at ignorant fans, that want to dog a guy that gave everything he had at UT , and helped bring a NC there. How dare he want to better himself, he should have stayed at UK and waited for us to call him. Good for Tee I wish him the best, and if he ever did return to UT I'd gladly welcome him back.

Why is it stupid to make a joke about peyton, but ok to talk how ever about Tee? They are both Vol greats are they not? Why are some guys off limits, and why isn't Tee one of those guys?

Tee was a great quarterback for us, and is now a professional coach.

Sometimes, the simple answers are the best

I've been around Tee on several occasions. Really nice guy. But I'm really shocked at his rise to prominence in the coaching ranks, from UK to USC. He's not at all charismatic, and in reality wasn't that great at QB mechanics to be in a position to teach the position and didn't play WR to be able to teach it either. I'm missing something.
From a coaching standpoint, you may be on to something. He's relatable to the kids. He can recruit pretty well. That's where he shines.

As a fanbase we need to get over this Lane Kiffin hatred thing. He screwed us to be sure, accept it and move on. Not everything in life is peaches and cream.

How can anyone harbor resentment towards Tee Martin for accepting a pretty good gig in the coaching profession? He gave it all on the field for U.T. and is now just trying to make a living doing what he loves.

He got a 3 or something like that on his wonderlic, I mean you can just guess at random and do better. I agree with your statement.

College coaching is about recruiting. They are like car salesman meeting their quota. I don't believe it's necessarily all about their coaching abilities....case in point Tennessee's current staff.
