I just read that the AA is investigating Miss State and that the WR coach resigned. The player they specifically mentioned is Will Redmond. Doesn't he have some sort of connection to De'Vinner?

Supposedly the WR coach hooked up with a coed which is against the rules. He was in his mid 20s and she was a Grad student but its still against the rules. There are also rumors that he also went out to bars and ran his mouth about insider info on the team while getting drunk so they used the student dating technicality to can him.
All hearsay at this point. I don't think anything was ever confirmed.

good for them. now if only the ncaa would investigate bama ooh the crap they would find.

A MSU guy told me UT turned them in, and the it had to do with the recruitment of Redmond. Don't know if it's true, just what he heard.

What have we accomplished that would imply rampant cheating?

We have beat the programs we were supposed to beat and lost to the ones we are supposed to lose to. This is well-documented here. In that tense, your post is almost flattering.

This is related to BD(and the recruitment of many of his players over the years). The reason that State is the headliner is because we self-reported recruiting "irregularities" to the NCAA in Feb regarding Redmond and have been working with them since. Of what nature? I don't know. But I do know that Redmond is still practicing with the team, so it must be relatively minor in nature...

State won't be the only school who gets caught up in this... we were just the first.
