The very first trial was stupid. Why was it based on weight? Let the heavy people have an advantage, FFS. That weight is a disadvantage most of the final. They gotta run 10 miles up the mountain.

I hated the risk stations. They mattered too much when they were based on stupid ****. Throwing an axe and guessing weight? Come on, man.

I personally hate that for him because he seems like a good dude at heart but psycho CT is awesome.

Why the stations on day 2 were not simply puzzles with no advantage, besides being good at puzzles, is beyond me. Puzzles are supposed to be the equalizers, instead they gave the most OP advantage ever in an ATV vs running for balancing rocks. Which nobody but Desi really balanced anyway.

There was no way to win if you missed a station and that's not how it should be. Cory was last in literally every 1st day comp (losing his gamble, too), and he went from worst to 2nd place simply because he hit all 3 stations and the other 2 didn't. So fkn stupid.

I thought it was also dumb that Fessy had to make up the mile and not actually run the course he missed. Like what? They just make this **** up as they go along.

Final was wack but I don’t hate the results.

Fessy sucks. Tori hopefully got humbled. Bananas is old.

Chris is a force and he proved it.

Corey… man, I mean, I like the guy but he just will never win. Same with his boy Nelson who I also like. Both are above average competitors and have no quit, but something just seems off every season that prevents them from winning.

Like most I hated the stations and the results etc. Too advantageous if made it. 1.2 miles off of a 10 mile final is ridiculous. And idk how long that atv ride was but insane.

Good season overall. I’ve largely avoided all these challenge spin offs but I’ll start paying them more attention.

As an aside - hate to hear about all that with CT. But the guy who killed his brother - I mean, I read the reports and his brother was chasing people with an ax or something. And that marriage was weird by all accounts.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him on another season but he may be too old now. 5x champ - just go out on top like he did.

Oh I didn't see that, but maybe he just was trying to start a wood chopping business.

I don't think he's too old, though I worry he might get fat again. Anyone that is better than him physically is also way behind him on puzzles, and anyone close on puzzles is way behind him physically for a final. He is just too well balanced for a final. IMO Aside from Jordan in a run heavy final with limited puzzles, I think he wins almost every time.

Yeah the story around it was his brother was a big dude and a lot of people were afraid of him. There was an issue where some locals harassed his girlfriend. He went to their house to confront them and stole some pot while there. They all made plans to meet up and fight at the baseball field. There was like 3-4 guys vs Vinny, his brother. Basically he got high on something and was acting out of control. He ran out of the car he arrived in with two girls carrying a taser and splitting maul. The other dudes were retreating and he started hitting one of the dudes truck with the maul. The guy who shot him, Kyle Bolaski (iirc) retrieved a hunting rifle from his truck and shot Vinny. Vinny said “I’m done” and turned to walk away and Kyle shot him in the back and I think walked up on him as he was on the ground and shot him again.

His family had a website at one time under the URL Justiceforvinny that had a ton of info, police reports etc. I can’t find it now so maybe it’s been taken down.

So basically imagine a bigger version of CT, hopped up on uppers, with an ax, raging like when he beat Adam.

Just starting the new season now and have to say im surprised no Josh or Fessy on the search for a new champion.

Quite a breath of fresh air.

Did find it kind of odd that the gay guy during a confessional said that as an openly gay guy he hopes to inspire gay kids that they can do anything. Ummm.... you're gay. You're not handicapped.

They’re doing some cool stuff this season but if I’m being honest - there isn’t anyone on the cast I gaf about, one way or the other. So it’s kind of making the show not very enjoyable.

I miss the old heads. 😞

Ed hasn't had a lot of screen time yet, but he is great TV. I like Emmanuel, too. He's a good vibe. Nurys is cool because she gets the other girls worked up and she's really good at comps vs. what you'd guess based on her appearance. Same goes for Zara with competitions.

Kyland and Berna can EAD, but I don't have a problem with anybody else. I guess Corey kinda sucks. Hughie is a pain in the ass, but great TV. OMG, he's unintentionally hilarious.

Yeah I'm just waiting till it pops up on Paramount Plus, if it was a normal season I'd either rent or buy it but meh.

Talk about scrubs, LOL.

I'm not sure about how great the competition level is at the top this season, but at the bottom it's good. Most seasons of TC is heavy with layups. Hughie was the only guy. Big T, Jujuy, and maybe Melissa are the only girl layups. Sometimes it feels like 1/3 of the cast doesn't belong.

The elimination popped up on my YouTube feed so I watched it and...idk if Jordan is the GOAT all time but he is 1 of them, idk if he is the elimination GOAT but he is definitely pretty high up there...1 thing that is indisputable is that he is the GOAT at making eliminations entertaining AF.

Dude is brilliant. And the show is so much better with him on it.

Definitely one of the GOATs. Him, CT, and Wes my all time favorites. And while I always knew he was a great competitor- I never grew such an appreciation for Jordan until the last 5 or so years.

I mean, he’s so good that I really thought he’d find a way to beat Feasy with one hand in the pole wrestle.

I liked him from the jump, but I like cocky a**holes. Lol Plus it amusesd me how much he drove Bananas crazy. I'm not sure who my third is. It's def Jordan and CT up there and Wes probably 5th ish. Maybe Kyle or my forever soft spot for Cara. Yeah I know lol

I did kind of think he might pull some weird flip sh*t to steal a round.
