Not hard to figure out. Both parties had proved to be all about some war and regime change. Both parties have no issue with ballooning deficits, Trump claimed to care but clearly doesn’t, but he didn’t have a record to be criticized then. He was able to run with no record and solely on rhetoric.I still believe Trump was the worst candidate in the primaries. I still believe he is a horrendously despicable human. I still think this period will be a permanent blight on America.
I still have a hard grasping how and why anyone would support him......even after hearing the reasons hundreds of times.
The conclusions I'm forced to draw are conclusions I had hoped to avoid drawing.
The world hates the current driver. They view him as an evil clown.
Trump had decades of public life that indicated exactly what he would be and then ran the most despicable presidential campaign in my lifetime. Not hard to figure out. Both parties had proved to be all about some war and regime change. Both parties have no issue with ballooning deficits, Trump claimed to care but clearly doesn’t, but he didn’t have a record to be criticized then. He was able to run with no record and solely on rhetoric.
And one of the biggest negatives of the Trump fiasco is the damage it has done to future candidates with no political history. No policy record to attack. When have we ever had that in a Presidential election? Perot? His life of being a private citizen are easy to pivot from.
According to McGahn. Does actual physical evidence exist that this is the way it went down? Does Trump have a different story? Legit questions because I haven't looked into this. If a memo or an email or something of that nature exists to support McGahn's account, you have an honest point. Otherwise, isn't it a case of conflicting stories?Trump told Mcgahn to fire Mueller and when he said no, he told him to lie and say Trump had not asked him to do so.
I'm stating that 99% of the American public has little idea what the report says. Mueller's testimony will decrease that percentage if nothing else.
Unfortunately, the MAGA faithful will remain oblivious to the facts of the investigation. The Fake News (Fox) will run defense for Trump and whitewash Mueller's testimony, Fox knows Trump supporters need their safe space.
