Mueller Report Imminent

Special counsel Robert Mueller made a last-minute request to have his deputy sworn in for Wednesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing in case he needed to answer any questions the special counsel could not fully answer himself, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Now my question. What are the repubs so scared of? (Hint: it starts with a t and an r and ends with a t and an h.)
Mayhaps muellers cranium isn't actually big enough to fit the entire report verbatim into his cranium. Some parts he handled, some parts his flunkies handled.

At a minimum debatable.

Appalling that the Trump and his adminstration continue the effort to cover up for Trump. Not suprising. But remarkably sinister.

The Muell has already given his statement, anything beyond that and the report destroys what little credibility he has.

But I do want him to testify fully, openly and honestly. The latter will be the hardest for him.

True. But my question was....What are the repubs so scared of?
They don't want anything outside the scope of what was written answered. As long as he sticks to the report they have no issues. Trump is teetering on charges for obstruction. That point is clear and impeachable. It doesn't matter that there was no collusion. When you are under investigation for a crime and try to alter the path of the investigation, it's obstruction.

Bill Barr was just on TV and said Mueller asked him to write and send this letter.
Mueller requested it on the 10th.
Mueller also requested a subpoena.
Evidently receiving a subpoena keeps him under DOJ guidelines rather than giving him the freedom to answer as a private citizen.
All of that makes it sound as if Mueller does not want to provide his insights.

All true.
I guess the question still remains. What are they scared of? (outside of the report) It seems they would want the truth, regardless of whether or not it was in the report.

Translation: if he does not hurt Trump, its okay. If he does, he has destroyed his own credibility.

Nice of you to join the board today, General Barr.

We never reach truth in Washington dc Luther. Both sides understand this political theater will end in nothing but they will all still be in power won't they?

How about starting with Hillary destroying evidence, thats obstruction. Why don't we get a special prosecutor to look into wire tapping opposing candidates in an election, certainly that is serious. Maybe look into the collusion between the Democratic Party and members of the Mueller investigation, bet we could find a lot of criminal activity there. Maybe Mueller will say the wrong thing and we can tack his ass on the wall? Or we could move forward and solve some real, you know, issues?
That's different. She didn't know it was bad.

Robert Mueller will change nothing

The nation is about to be riveted by the public testimony this week of former special counsel Robert Mueller before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. Millions will tune in to hear the most respected prosecutor in the nation describe how President Trump interfered with the investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 campaign, lied about it to the American people, and instructed others to do the same. Facts and legal jargon buried in the final report of Mueller will become clear, causing support for Trump and Attorney General William Barr to begin crumbling.

Previously wavering House Democrats now aided by a growing number of moderate Republicans will finally embrace impeachment with hearings dominating news coverage after this summer and well into the campaign cycle. Trump, bereft of allies, will retreat further into his inner circle as calls for a primary challenge become louder. He will suffer a humiliating defeat in the 2020 election along with the Senate Republicans who, ignoring the growing public outcry, stubbornly refused to remove him.

That is one scenario. Here is what is much more likely to happen. Mueller, true to his word, will testify to the facts and conclusions found within the four corners of his report and nothing more. Democrats, who in the last few months since the report was released have not been able to hold a single substantive hearing on its key findings, will try desperately to force Mueller to say the actions of Trump constitute impeachable offenses. They will ask whether Mueller would have brought charges against Trump but for Justice Department policy against charging a sitting president, still bitter that Mueller had failed to engineer a way as an executive branch prosecutor to exercise the removal authority that rests with Congress.

Robert Mueller will change nothing

They’re not scared of anything. The president was unjustly framed, an investigation was completed, and it wasn’t to your liking so this is just a continuation of an attempted smear campaign. The only way you will be happy is if Mueller contradicts everything he’s said.

What's the matter, don't want to use his full title as if it would besmirch the reputation of other attorneys?

Wow, he said as much in his earlier statement to the press and you just reached that conclusion Septic/luther?

You are a deep thinker, yes, you are.

"The president was unjustly framed"

Lol!

Nobody needs to frame Trump, he's a completely unchecked criminal on multiple fronts.

If he includes anything in his testimony that is not in his report the question becomes "why wasn't that in your report"? Zip goes his credibility.
Has anybody ever suffered consequences for anything that has come out of any Congressional hearing?
