Mueller Report Imminent

Took awhile for the transcripts to get to this point but ........... Obstruction, witness tampering, conspiracy, and questionable forthrightness in his written responses. MAGA Win for the repubs.

Mr. Welch: 01:56:10 Director Mueller, did you find there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia?
Robert Mueller: 01:56:18 Well, we don’t use the word collusion. The word we usually use is the … well not not collusion, but one of the other terms that that fills in when collusion is not used. In any event, we decided not use the word collusion in as much as it has no relevance to the criminal law arena.
Mr. Welch: 01:56:52 The term is conspiracy that you prefer to use.
Robert Mueller: 01:56:55 Conspiracy. Exactly right.
Mr. Welch: 01:56:56 You help me, I’ll help you.
Robert Mueller: 01:56:58 Thank you.
Mr. Welch: 01:56:58 It’s an agreement. Thank you. And in fact you had to then make a charging decision after your investigation where unless there was enough evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt, you wouldn’t make a charge, correct?
Robert Mueller: 01:57:14 Generally that’s the case.
Mr. Welch: 01:57:15 But making that decision does not mean your investigation failed to turn up evidence of conspiracy.
Robert Mueller: 01:57:22 Absolutely correct.
Mr. Welch: 01:57:23 And in fact, I’ll go through some of the significant findings that your exhaustive investigation made. You found, as I understand it, that from May 2016 until the end of the campaign, campaign chairman Mr Manafort gave private polling information to Russian agents, correct?
Robert Mueller: 01:57:42 Right.
Mr. Welch: 01:57:44 And-
Speaker 7: 01:57:44 Could you speak into the microphone?
Robert Mueller: 01:57:45 I will. My apologies.
Mr. Welch: 01:57:48 Thank you. And your investigation found that in June 2016, Donald Trump Jr made an arrangement to meet at Trump Tower along with Jared Kushner and others expecting to receive dirt on the Hillary Clinton campaign, correct?
Robert Mueller: 01:58:03 Correct.
Mr. Welch: 01:58:05 And you found in your investigation that on July 27th candidate Trump called up on Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails something that for the first time they did about five hours later, correct?
Robert Mueller: 01:58:19 That’s correct.

We did not address 'collusion,' which is not a legal term. Rather, we focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy. It was not.

Ah, wonderful. The "look it up yourself" response.
Mmmmmmm.....if you made the claim, it's up to you to provide the proof.

I mean I can dunk from the free throw line. So you better prove that.
So you can't find it, huh?

Amazing.
The words in his actual report say NO evidence the campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian efforts. Jesus man. Don’t you think that would be the headline on every news site if he said otherwise?
That’s not what happened.
I’m not sure how you drive a car or even feed yourself. You clearly have no idea what is happening around you
Things that were never said for infinity Alex.
Good Lord Man!!! You believe what you falsely want to believe than what the truth showed today.
You still have not shown any proof of this being brought out in today's hearing but still say it over & over.
You sir are very delusional with your TDS in your head. You need another vacation to free your delusion.
Nothing was said today about obstructed tampered and conspired about/with anything. NO proof you've given.
luther out walking his dog.

There is no way to spin this exchange as a part of any type of victory for Trump. The way conservatives are acting on here is stupid.

That is complete and total bs... Mueller did not say either one of those things.

Take care to read the last sentence.

I said that Mueller stated that Trump and his cronies conspired.

So to recap:
Obstruction - check
Witness tampering - check
Conspiracy - check

And that's what Trumpers call a victory.

Take care to understand that Mueller never says "no obstruction".

WGAF? If there’s no crime it’s irrelevant. Talking about doing something deemed to be obstruction or asking someone to do something deemed to be obstruction and they decline isn’t obstruction.
LOL! That is not well established. Different attorneys will give you different opinions on that topic. The point is, that Trump and his minions are still saying "no obstruction" when Mueller has said time and time again that they did not clear Trump of obstruction.

No, it is not! A decision not to bring charges at this time, is not the same thing as an acquittal! Jeez.
It's not an acquittal, it's a nothing burger. For an acquittal to happen, charges have to be brought. Would you agree, personal opinions aside, in the eyes of the legal system, Trump is innocent, since innocence is presumed, and he has not been proven guilty? Put opinions aside and deal with the facts of the case. Guilt has not been proven or shown, therefore he is entitled to the presumption of innocence under our system.

So to recap:
Unable to provide sufficient evidence to even indict yet alone convict the subject of this investigation or any others on the charges of obstruction, witness tampering or conspiracy - check.

Unable to move forward with impeachment of the President of the United States for obstruction, conspiracy and witness tampering - check.

And that's what Democrats call a victory.

YGHN!
