If Texas was not given permission to speak with Calipari or his agent, this sounds like it might be illegal…

You really think KY is gonna cause a stink about it considering the current state of affairs?

Kind of like a briar rabbit kinda scenario here most likely from the Mildcat fans-"please don't hire Cal away"

A fan was thrown out of Rupp tonight for having this sign - “Please go to Texas.” 🤣🤣🤣View attachment 530444
What is up with the person behind them? They look like they have a blanket or notebook on their head or something 😂 what is going on? 😂 maybe someone is blocking their face for some reason? Kentucky people are weird

I think Texas could possibly look at Bruce Pearl as a possible successor to Chris Beard.

Auburn does not have the financial backers that Texas has.
I'd love to get Pearl out of the SEC and our hair. Hey, it's a UT and a shade of orange. Might be just enough to lure him away. My worst nightmare is that he ends up at UK. Gawd help us all.

It gets him out of our hair for a season or two. Texas is coming to the SEC in '25 at the latest.

People are already forgetting that Texas and OU are joining the SEC. Maybe they thought it was for football only. Or simply didn't know.
