'Murica: The Beer

I've always gave Budweiser credit for two things. 1- They make a bland, tasteless, fizzy yellow water beer but they do it consistently. No matter which brewery it comes from it tastes exactly the same. 2- They are marketing geniuses. They prove time and time again that you can produce a bad product but if you tell people over and over that its good in different and clever ways they will believe it.

Most beer and liquor companies that regularly advertise are quite savvy, and almost universally mid grade or less.

True but a lot of these companies learned from AB. You’re right though there are several that do a really good job at playing the game. Bud, Miller, and Coors all have their loyal followers even though the recipes are nearly identical. Dos Equis is another good example of the power of marketing. Their sales skyrocketed after launching the most interesting man in the world campaign.

Funny a beer that calls itself America is owned by a company from Belgium. Ladies and gentlemen, that is irony

All these accusations about being Belgium is comparable to saying a Dodge is a British car.

Dodge is American despite being principally owned by Fiat, anything made by Anheuser Busch is American. The actual unit HQ for AB is still in St Louis. This is ridiculous

Did you mean Italian instead of British? And maybe Belgian instead of Belgium?

No and no.

After the Fiat-Chrysler merger, headquarters are in London. Belgian/Belgium is the same freaking thing. Except I did mean to put "from" before Belgium
