Muricans are docile & obedient slaves

So again you think people should be allowed to do what they want on others’ property without any recourse?
If it were a private school, I would give you the argument. But on public school grounds and this woman was just minding her own business. Nah... this is nonsense.

How many times have you forced someone out for not wearing a mask?
When I was in law enforcement never because it wasn’t an issue back then. At the hospital now I know that the hospital’s security and other teams have made probably 20-25 people leave the campus this year, 4 were arrested because they refused.

From a strictly legal standpoint perhaps, but the policy itself is beyond ridiculous

Then her remedy is to go to the politicians and try to change it. Not defy it because she doesn't agree with it.

Can BLM protestors loot a store and claim they can't be arrested because they think theft shouldn't be illegal? Of course not.

Disagreeing with the law or ordinance or whatever was in place doesn't give her the right to refuse to comply in that moment. It certainly does not give her the right to physically resist arrest at that moment.

You can be asked to leave property for any variety of reasons and you have to comply period. Same with smokers or people with loud radios or offensive t shirts or anything
Of course you can, but in my opinion.... it was overkill in this instance. A girl sitting with her family.... outdoors.... away from everyone else..... I know the cop has a job to do and most likely was asked by some school officials to address the situation.....

You can be arrested for trespassing at any government building. You may not agree with their rules but you must follow them and if they ask you to comply or leave you have to. That’s how property rights work

That’s the hospital though.... that’s sensible

So what was the alternative? Not do anything and whenever you tell someone to leave your property and they argue or cuss just go running and hope they don’t come back again?

I do see whats wrong with this.

1) the lady is in the wrong at so many levels I can't count, and

2) the selectively cut or edited video was posted to give the impression the lady was arrested and manhandled merely for not wearing a mask. Not true.
What was the proximate cause of her arrest?

Exactly. Nor should it be an issue now. Don't you cops have bigger concerns than just throwing more responsibilities on top of what you already are doing? Now you have to police mask use?

At the hospital now I know that the hospital’s security and other teams have made probably 20-25 people leave the campus this year, 4 were arrested because they refused.

And that is our new freedom. 25 people hauled off for the most trivial and bogus activity you could imagine. This isn't freedom.

Any private property is the same. Any government property is the same.
Right, but you’re missing my point.... there are sick and vulnerable people in the hospital. Wearing a mask there is the logical thing to do...... when socially distancing outdoors?..... not so much

Trespassing is a common charge everywhere because stupid people think they have the “freedom” to be on other persons property and loiter, smoke, steal, urinate, protest, etc.

Just like you wouldn’t think it was minor or trivial if someone came onto your front yard uninvited and refused to leave

That's just it. None of the legislators voted on or passed this mask mandate. How the hell are you gonna say voting in the right politicians is the answer when this mask mandate bypassed the legislative bodies?

You are not making sense.

This happens all the time in Alabama

In this particular case, that would have been the wise decision.

Not every battle is worth fighting. Common sense and discretion.
