Last Season in his 2009 edition on the cover it had the following...

"The high school ranks in Tennessee are again blessed with many players who are destined to for the highest classification of college football next year. Some of those players are again on this year's cover." They include (top to bottom, left to right)
Barry Brunetti, Marc Gooch, James Maclin, Keiwone Malone, Terrance martin, Tim McAdoo, Tyler Robinson, Jacques Smith, Darian Stone, James Stone, Zak Tait and Bo Wallace.


On the 2008 cover the following..

Marlon Brown, Alex Bullard, Eric Gordan, Daniel Hood, Will Jackson, Wesley Johnson, David Jones, Cole Lail, Austin Long, Zack Rogers and Marsalis Teague.

:good!: OK ??? My point is why put a player whose biggest offer is Memphis on the cover of the TN Football guide.

Because its a D-1 offer and as it states its only some of the best players from across the state and as I said his magazine now in its 23 year and its only as good as the info that coaches supply him in his survey he sends out every spring if a school/coach doesn't return the survey with the info he needs to write the preview for that school. If it doesn't get one in the book that is why because he didn't get the info needed. So if some names/pictures aren't on the cover or in the magazine its because that player's coach may not have sent any info/picture on his team or player.

I read websites all the time. I know how to look up rivals.com and scouts.com and espn.com. I'm young and immature but I know that you know that I know more than you do so its best that since your older and don't do things the way I do things that its time for you to leave...... or I'll start a thread about you telling everyone how stupid you are so it makes me look smart because I read rivals.com.

I listen to Mr. Fair every Friday on the radio during football season. I doubt that there is another person ANYWHERE that knows as much about TN high school football than him. That being said it says 12 OF the top players in the state... NOT THE top 12 players. We really need to get back to winning if nothing else to get some people to chill out. Go Vols!

Seriously man He left Clear off and put Hunter Long on. There are 5 OL in TN with better offer list than Long. Can he seriously not read and get pictures from rivals or scout? What if a school changes coaches? I agree about him being great for years. But this year he really showed It's Time for Murphy to go. I nominate Freak or Rex as the next GURU.

As I said he gets his info from the coaches, I just looked up Memphis Central on Murphy's website and there is seven players listed as 2010 Top Prospects and Clear is not one of them and that info is supplied by each school not Murphy. I'm sure that he probably could get pictures from Rivals or Scout for the right amount of money but that would be stupid when he can just put someone else again its "Some of the State's Top Players" NOT "The Top Players"

Hunter Long just committed to Georgia isn't that's a solid Div-1 school?

I have nothing better to do in my life then to go through threads and find things wrong with peoples grammar. It makes me feel good about myself and it helps bring others down.

Now, que the next guy who's going to find something else to say about someone else... probably my post. My point the whole time is why does everyone have to be so negative on here. How about more posts talking postive about recruits and about our team and about our experiences. Whats the name of this thread again...
