Muschamp in pursuit of the Fulmer Cup!

Who knows. It's all dirty rumors, no official statements or any accounts of events. It appears that CCM is keeping whatever happened within the family for now.
And it should be kept within the family. Any public info wouldn't really accomplish anything except to satiate our want of gossip.

"Florida tight end A.C. Leonard was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor battery after a woman alleged he shoved her, dragged her by her hair and threw her out of their Gainesville apartment. Leonard has been suspended from the team, the school announced.

Leonard, who caught eight passes for 99 yards as a freshman last season, is the ninth player arrested since coach Will Muschamp took over for Urban Meyer in January 2011."

Will's running a tight ship down there. :eek:lol:

Is it Will's fault or is he dealing with Urban's leftovers?

He dealt with Janoris Jenkins pretty quickly

I don't want to be the annoying Gator fan who comes into a thread like this and ruins the good buzz that a rival is having at our expense, but it's worth mentioning that we actually recruited two of the top TE's in the country this year - Colin Thompson and Kent Taylor - and will be installing the "Double Dragon" Tight End package with them (think Gronkowski/Hernandez from New England, but even more explosive) as part of Brent Pease's new system, so I'm not sure what Leonard's role was going to be anyway. In fact, a lot of pundits didn't understand why we backed off 5 star WR Stephon Diggs down the stretch, but it's actually because Taylor and Thompson are so skilled in the passing game that they make up for another receiver. So, anyway, I just don't find myself that upset about losing Leonard. It would probably be best for him to transfer, anyway, but even moreso in light of this unfortunate event.

What a load of crap. UF fans are notoriously stupid, but good lord with the double tight ends idiocy.

Find a QB and stop with all the arrests.

WOW!!!! Man never say your college tight end "package" is more explosive than what the Patriots do. Next thing you know Florida will go 5 wide and it will be more prolific than "The Greatest Show on Turf." Cheese and Rice

The biggest issue I have when these coaches deal with kids who are involved in domestic violence issues is they really take it to lightly. I guess I look at situations like that as "what if it was my daughter?" I think these coaches to set a precedent early on when these kids arrive on campus, you get arrested for domestic violence then you're done. No second or third chances you're no longer a member of this university. Some may say it's harsh but if it was your daughter or sister being drug out of her house by her hair, do you think just a slap on the wrist is good enough?

I still hate calling this award the Fulmer Cup.
Quote(from wikipedia):

Ironically, despite being associated with the award's namesake, the University of Tennessee has never even approached winning the cup. Three other SEC schools, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia have won the cup, yet Tennessee has finished near the bottom of the top ten only once.

BTW, Dooley's Mom>Muschamp
