"Florida tight end A.C. Leonard was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor battery after a woman alleged he shoved her, dragged her by her hair and threw her out of their Gainesville apartment. Leonard has been suspended from the team, the school announced.
Leonard, who caught eight passes for 99 yards as a freshman last season, is the ninth player arrested since coach Will Muschamp took over for Urban Meyer in January 2011."
Will's running a tight ship down there. lol:
That's what I'm talking bout, beetch probably wasn't wearing Jorts short enough for him.
I don't want to be the annoying Gator fan who comes into a thread like this and ruins the good buzz that a rival is having at our expense, but it's worth mentioning that we actually recruited two of the top TE's in the country this year - Colin Thompson and Kent Taylor - and will be installing the "Double Dragon" Tight End package with them (think Gronkowski/Hernandez from New England, but even more explosive) as part of Brent Pease's new system, so I'm not sure what Leonard's role was going to be anyway. In fact, a lot of pundits didn't understand why we backed off 5 star WR Stephon Diggs down the stretch, but it's actually because Taylor and Thompson are so skilled in the passing game that they make up for another receiver. So, anyway, I just don't find myself that upset about losing Leonard. It would probably be best for him to transfer, anyway, but even moreso in light of this unfortunate event.
