What do you expect him to say? "We suck and don't have a chance in hell"? Every coach in the country would say what he did when asked.

I disagree. Many coaches with such a depleted roster would say. We aren't focused on that. We are focused on getting better each day, and we know the results will come if we take care of the process.

Not that it's a "realistic" goal for them to win the SEC East.

Donald Trump has nothing on Will Muschamp, who has nothing on Jim Harbaugh. Emotional instability can be a blessing and a curse.

Pretty much echoing want Tusk said. He can recruit on defense, and actually somewhat on offense(certain positions). He just meddles with the offensive side of the ball. If he can keep himself on the defensive side of the ball and let Roper run the offense they can be a somewhat decent team. As far as contending for the East? Not so much. It'll be UGA, UT or UF from the East.

To watch Driskel throw for over 4000 yards and 32 TDs at LaTech and Jacoby Brissett at NCS throw for over 5000 yards and 50 TDs only 9 int. in his two seasons says he had enough QB talent to make a better showing at Florida. Life is full of second chances and more so in college football. But this time, he has got to figure out how to coach the offense without screwing up the tempo and scheme. Muschamp needs to coach effort and accountability, get out of the way and let competent offensive minds do their thing.

His problem at UF was 3 OC's in 4 years. Lack of continuity and grasping of a system killed them. Fat Charlie left him high and dry after year 1 and I think he reached on Pease in the scramble to replace him. Had he hired Roper instead of Pease initially, things may have been different. Roper will likely have 3-4 years this time around to prove he can develop an offense.

It can be his goal but has no bearing on whether it is realistic. Love to see how much of his salary he'd be willing to lay on them winning the division.

I am guessing none.

Correcting his inaccurate statements are too easy. People know who he is. But when the season is clicking along and we're doing fine he will curtail his BS just as he did last year. With one caveat. I wouldn't be surprised if he gives all the credit for 120 success to Shoop. We'll see how it plays out.

So would clips of Butch doing the same thing be fair game also? There are several. Especially one starting the second half against UGA in 2013 that makes Muschamp seem like a purring kitten. And Butch got us a 15 yard penalty to boot killing our opening drive of the half.

I watched a interview with CWM.. He was asked about how the QBs are progressing, then asked if it would be he or the OC to decide the QB starter.. He said without hesitation, "oh, it would be me".. Then added, of course with input from the OC..

It's not that I disagree with him, it was just the arrogance he had when answering the question..

Man, to think that he would learn from his mistakes. Does he really think he can draw talent like he did at Florida? Does he really think his offensive schemes will work now? It's like a train wreck. You can't help but watch. And I feel sorry for the Gamecock fans I know.
