Florida looks bad enough as it is. Sure glad we didn't end up with Mill Wuschomp.

He ripped his headset off in angry and cut his face.

He is going to have to find a better way to react when things don't go right or he will end up being forced (by doctors) to retire when he is 40. He can't possibly keep this up AND maintain his health.

I don't remember Kiffin ever having a brain aneurysm on the sidelines either. I don't really think you should despise his actions (just like we ate up all of Kiffin's antics), but if I were you, I would be worried about his heath and the duration of his tenure at FL. Something's got to give here.

I recall a huge one at a podium, however.

Should we take the comparison as an implicit admission of Muschamp's 'D-Bagginess'...?

It's a bad comparison imo.

Kiffin couldn't keep the truth straight from day one, and it got the athletic director canned followed by a couple visits from the NCAA....yet he had many of you guys wrapped around his finger.

Muschamp acts like a caveman on the sideline, that's it.

So you're justifying your support of him because we supported a guy who was similar in class or lack thereof? You say this even though you remember your opinion on kiffin and the outcome of that "era"? Lol ok.

I don't think the guy has been a douche (other than going after a pussified ref). I just think he needs to find a way to keep his blind rage under control before he dies on the sideline. My opinion is based off of me not wanting the guy to harm himself, not me hating him because he's a douche.

And we found out the hard way he was a douche and were lucky to have him go. Looks like we got lucky not getting Muschamp too. As others mentioned yelling works on occassion with some but for others it shuts them down. He seems to be pretty indiscriminate with his tantrums.

I think what a number of the Vol fans are trying to say is UT's douche is bigger than your douche.

And to take it one step further, UT's coach is better than your coach...

I believe there is a time for a head coach to get on the ref. It's part of the game. But Muschamp seems to always be yelling at the ref and making a fool of himself. I'm not sure how long that can last without some type of negative implication.

The best coaches pick their spots.

As far as the Kiffin-Muschamp comparison goes, it's really not all that applicable IMO. Kiffin was a douche off the field (comments and such). Muschamp is a lunatic on the field. I'm more concerned with Muschamp's health than I ever was with Meyer's.

I just can't imagine a scenario where screaming, red-faced at the refs after every play, and constantly losing your cool, will go over well with the refs or the SEC. He'll calm it down....hopefully.

I agree 100%.

Muschamp is a rookie head coach, so hopefully he will learn to pick his spots. Showing up the refs on every questionable call can do more harm than good. Showing up the refs when our DBs are actually committing PI is another story altogether.

Again, if the refs had the balls to flag him for UC, he would change his behavior sooner than later.
