Our DB's though not great were called for PI a bizillion times for just looking at a Purdue receiver. Yet the guy using Tillman's jersey to ski down the field on the last drive of regulation was missed, WTF
I remember that no call on Tillman, the refs were absolutely horrible in that game. I never want to go back to the MCB again.

I told my wife the fix was in on our second possession.
It was the same story all game. repeatedly.

I did a lot of cheering in my seat that day, but I told my wife gambling money was involved in the officiating. Nothing happened in the stadium during the game, after the game, or the time since that has changed my mind one tiny bit.

Yet we're told it doesn't happen.

I said the same thing. And as football bowls, TV coverage, and conference/universities monies tie closer and closer and closer together, we're going to see more and more of it.

Better grow up as a fan if you want this program to be big time again... we don't talk about bowl games anymore :)

So glad that we now have a coach who has raised our ceiling from 6-8 wins to 10+ wins a season so we wont have to worry about going back to that bowl again. Wish music city bowl best of luck choosing whether they are sending their invite to Kentucky or USCjr each year and trying to sell more than 33% of available tickets without the vols playing.

I was sitting directly behind the replay both and the officials were in there for less than 30 seconds.
Due to so many incomplete passes, first downs, overtime and Purdue faking so many injuries on defense, that is one of the longest games I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure it went well over 4 hours ...

Looking back, I think the refs were physically spent, probably had flights to catch that night, and just wanted to get the hell out of Dodge.

They probably didn't think anyone would care if they just went ahead and ended the game ... In their minds, it was just The Music City Bowl, after all.

I'm saying this in a tongue-in-cheek (but there really could be a grain of truth to it) kind of way.

Whether TN was the victim or not, that review official should be fired and never allowed to take part in a collegiate level game (assuming he’s still employed) for two reasons:
1) Missing the call
2) Running his mouth to Hart

Well it's not the bowl's or Nashville's fault..

Pro gamblers keep track of historical tendencies just like Music Bowl losses for a reason. They tend to repeat over time. Don't just dismiss it.

The Vols got the ACC back when they beat Clemson in the Orange Bowl last season.
One does never get refine for a Ref screwing a call and then trying to fool the fans. Those refs should be bared from ever calling another football game. Of course, one has to realize they were from the ACC.
