There is no way he would get any minute playing time at USC unless all, yes all, quarterbacks before him got hurt.

yeah, i just don't see the logic in transferring to a place that is stockloaded at QB. I haven't seen Sanchez play any, but I did see Mustain play this past season at Arkansas and if Pete Carroll is as high on Sanchez as it appears, Mustain won't beat him out anytime soon. Yes, they also signed a highly recruited QB this past season.

sanchez has looked very good. he has a rifle for an arm. i'd be shocked if he didn't start over mustain. he also will have more years in the system.

This seems like a knee-jerk reaction by Mustain, to show Nutt, "hey I had turned down USC to come here, look how lucky you were." I think he will regret it, when it sinks in he's not the 2nd team QB behind Booty. Maybe he just wants to win an NC but how did he end up at Arkansas.

obviously he is pissed at nutt but if you are going to transfer you'd think you'd transfer somewhere that doesn't have qb depth. Isn't that one of the reasons he went to arky in the first place?

I agree completely. Thats why i said i thought it was a knee-jerk reaction, and wasn't thought out.

He should have transferred to the Univ of Tulsa and he and Mazahain(sp?) could have continued their man love.

He want to Ark because it was his home state and he had the opportunity to be the hero. But, yes, logically you would think the guy would transfer somewhere he could play within a year or so. This guy keeps making bad decisions.

MM going to the west coast away from this three ring circus arkansas calls it's athletic program is the smartest thing he has done. I wish him well, but he will have three Parade All Americans to contend with. I believe Sanchez was 2005's Parade All American QB.

Well, MM will not be able to touch the field until 2008 and HDN may been gone after this season, too many want him gone now. I think he riding the waves to pick up that 1.2 million bonus check he gets for not taking the Nebraska job.

Yeah, you are right there. The FOI records showed that HDN was trying to get Dell into his system two weeks after the kids signed. Frank Broyles says "People tell me that his (Malzahn's) offense will not work in the SEC". Someone should of told that to Florida last year.

If Mustain were to redshirt this coming season, could that count as his year that he sits out for transferring, or would he have to set out a year without a redshirt for that?

I think he will definitely lose one year eligibility no matter what.

The redshirt year could be used as the sit-out year.

he always wanted to be razorback, but if you remember he pulled his commentment from Ar and was looking at other places like ND. Days after they hired Malzahn, MM recommitted to Ar and his buddies who committed to FL decided to go to AR. Now, They were promissed his (Malzahn') system and according to Malzahn that system was only ran during the USC game in the fourth quarter when MM moved the ball 78 yards for a score. Anyway, Mitch was 8-0 and got benched after the Book came out called "The year of the bulldog" and in it Mitch had made a diragtory statement about HDN. Ironic HUH.
