Bama NOT moving up is my take and a Boise W prevents that, so root Boise. But a W or L by either of these teams does not do anything to help us.

Honestly, whether Boise or UNLV won, it wouldn’t have changed much of anything overall.

UNLV winning would have bumped the Big 12 champion into the bye week group, moved Alabama up one spot to 10 but because of the Big 12 and Mountain West champion (UNLV) being outside the top 10 Alabama would still be sitting at what will be the last non-conference champion spot: the #11 seed.
