My Bammer friend called me a little while ago and what he was saying shocked me.

Me and him have been friends since we were kids. He still hates Fulmer and calls him The Secret Witness. He hates my Vols as much as I Hate his Tide. I gave him Hell all through the Late 90s and early 2000s and he has returned the favor to me since. We don't care about feelings when it comes to CFB.

He called me and said the better team lost today. That was Shocking. He then said that Butch will be the next Great Coach in the SEC. He said that he coaches as well as he recruits and we will win SEC and NCs if he stays in Knoxville.

The last thing he said Shocked me the most. He said he was glad They got us at home this year. He still expects the Tide to Roll of course but for the first time in many many years I heard a little fear in his voice.

When a Die Hard Bammer says UT has a great coach you take notice.

It was a lot easier to have Bama fans as friends in the 1990s. I don't expect anything like that to ever happen again, but I would like to see us win our share against them.

Does your bammer friend realize that the lead investigator in the Albert Means case came out recently after retiring to say that Philip Fulmer was not only, not guilty of turning in Bammer, but that he was never even being questioned or looked into it by officials.

Translation for your mouth breathing friend: Phil didden have nuttin to do with bringin' down your proud program. It was your own rool brakin'.

You mean, you were 12 and he was 17...in the 7th grade right?

It was documented at the time that Houston Nutt and Steve Spurrier had more to do with starting the investigation than Fulmer.
