I had a Tide fan buddy once. I sold him down the river in court. I had no explanation at the time as to why I suddenly turned on him . I know that subconsciously I made the decision I did was because he was a bammer.

My younger brother was born, raised, and lives in BAMA, you should hear the banter. It's a genuine college football hate. We just try not to talk about CF much, but can't really help it. He isn't even considering UT football this year. Hope the rest of the state is the same way. Would love to sneak up on them. It will be difficult when they only play two games a year in a twelve game season. They get lots of "practice games" and get to walk into every game healthy. Then the BCS and ESPN takes their money and laugh all the way to the bank. Someone is going to have to get that QB dirty at some point. I don't think he has EVER been touched in his whole college career .

You lost me when you used the words "Bammer" and "friend" together in your thread title.

He moved to my part of TN when we were in 7th grade. We have been Best Friends since we were 12. We have either attended or watched every Third Sat in Oct since 1995.

Clearly a case of Stockholm syndrome (sympathizing with your captors). Standby, we are coordinating with the extraction team to get you out! :)

i dont mind bammers who have a reason to be a fan. the ones that have been through the ups and downs of a program are admirable. even if they fight for the wrong side.
