Oh Damn. I thought it was going to be Nick Saban. I've always been suspicious of him. He and Michael Sam have more in common than most

We seriously need some deets on this belt. When it was made, price, why someone would need that, etc.

Well, anybody comfortable wearing that would certainly get 15 seconds of fame on TV and probably a promo shot on new SEC network, right next to those guys carrying rolls of toilet paper dressed in crimson.

Wonder what he found in his mom's closet? Some sort of orange Stacy Keibler get-up?

Newsflash: It's not real.

How many of you guys would enjoy football if:
-every game was rigged
-every play was inconceivable (wouldn't happen in a real football game)
-tackles were faked (& even though there was NO CONTACT, the one getting tackled acted like his head just exploded - see World Cup Soccer)
-the referees were on the take (ok, skip that one)
-the players would give speeches to the crowd (ok, that one would be pretty cool)

Seriously, who would take it seriously?!

So i guess you don't watch tv shows? Have a problem with actors?

Nobody takes wrestling seriously, its a live play/tv show. It's entertaining if you can get over the "it's not real, therefore it sucks" dumbassery.

I wouldn't say nobody takes it seriously

I have seen people want to fight over calling it fake

Was expecting something totally different. I was expecting this...

How I Met My Father's Boyfriend.

Yeah, I was expecting that. And I still clicked it. But I'm not gay.

So, genius, you'd watch "fake football"? What else... "fake basketball"? You really don't see the difference between a soap opera and a sporting event (people bet on the latter because the outcome is not certain)?

Human beings love watching other human beings beat the crap out of each other. Even if it's staged.

They are basically stunt men. And it's played up with a bunch of theatrics. With the right personalities and story lines, it can be entertaining. On a certain level, it's as basic as any other story. There are good guys and bad guys and if the story is written well and perfomed well, you can be made to care about the good guys or the bad guys.

Most of us watch things all the time where the outcome is known. The movie "Titanic" set box office records.

We watch sporting events that we have seen and the outcome is known. We watch movies that we have seen more than once.

I can tell you there are many instances where I have been vastly more entertained by something I have already seen where the outcome is known versus what I have never seen and the outcome is unknown.

I was expecting a stack of vintage Hustlers and Debbie Does Dallas on laserdisc.

It's not really a sporting event. They are actors/athletes putting on a show. Most people can understand this.
