We know not when our Lord will call us back home. The best we can do is enjoy life and live it to the fullest. I remember 6 years ago when my Dad passed. He was a very spiritual man and found out he had leukemia one month before he passed, still working 40 hour weeks at his church though he was 78 years old.
We were sitting in the den at 2:00am talking and noticed he kept looking at the clock on the wall. I asked why did he keeping looking at it. He smiled at me and said, "Because I'm going to see Jesus in a few hours". Dad passed away with all of my family around him at 4:15am on a beautiful Sunday morning.
Prayers up for you and your family so you may find comfort and strength, my friend.

Vols Nation:

My father in law passed away in his sleep this morning in Northern California. He was a great man who died tragically from liver cancer. I would have loved the opportunity to take him to Knoxville and experience Neyland Stadium first hand. He’ll never have that opportunity.
It would be amazing for Vols Nation to send beautiful orange flowers to his window

Sorry for your loss. Lost my mom in August to cancer. Our pastor preached a funeral of a young lady that passed from cancer, he presented a question. The question was when are we going to ask God to abolish cancer? We ask for help when people are diagnosed with it, when are we going to ask in faith believing for him to completely do away with cancer. Don’t know about y’all but I believe God can do all things and too many lives taken from this horrible plaque. So my prayer is for God to completely do away with cancer and I hope vol nation will pray the same in Faith believing.
