My gut reactions

UGA is going to blitz the living daylights out of our offensive line. We've got to grow up in a hurry

Yep and that's just the start of it. Worley might not last through SEC play if it doesn't get any better.

When his head bounced off the turf, I thought he was done right then.

The only thing you can pin on Worley is the fumble early. He should have recognized the blitz.

Darr looks to be hampered from getting his ankle jammed up in week 1 I believe it was? He had a couple nice punts before that. I hope he progresses back as the season unfolds.

That throw to Croom was absolutely not forced. It was a jump ball thrown to a 6'5" WRin single coverage. It was exactly what they wanted.

Yes but if i remember correctly it was 1st down on a sustained drive. Maybe not forced but unnecessary.

1. This is the first time I think we can question Bajakian's play calling. He didn't adjust to quicker passes soon enough. The jet sweep at the goal line was horrendous. Red zone play calling was bad. Maybe it was hard bc the line sucked so bad but dang.

2. Worley can't throw 2 interceptions in the end zone - both were forced and unnecessary. Could have been 27-24.

3. Defense really showed fight and will be dang good by mid season. Owen Williams.

4. Croon :/

5. Darr looked very bad.

6. The officiating in the first half was game changing and not just the missed fumble. We counted a minimum of 7 missed holding calls in the 1st half. Minimum. Call even half of them and that game changes completely.

7. I haven't seen a worse OL at UT in my life. Lot of work to do.

8. Hurd makes some weird direction decisions. Seems like he misses holes and on both long runs it seemed like he could have cut inside for even more yardage.

9. This team will win 7. Only Bama can physically dominate us like thawasQUOTE]

You critique Jalen. I know that no one is perfect but he looked Jamalesque last night (when Jamal was a frosh). The kid finally got his D1 legs under him and he saw some holes, which should be amazing considering his young line struggled tremendously. It is the first time that fans should have peed their pants from excitement from the tb position since Stephens maybe Hardesty Era. We finally have our Mantle at tb. Croom was and is one of my biggest disappointments as he seems to lack the ability to make any play in a big game.
The good that no one can question, our defense is legit. We get people off the field. Three games is a trend and we certainly don't let teams convert third downs. We may lead the nation in that stat. Another good trend is our o line will get better the more games they get under their belt

Easy bro I wouldn't go that far. He didn't have his best game, but he's made plays for us.

I'm looking at his body work. He has never been a reliable WR for us and he had other drops in this game.

Should have been playing for the first down, not a TD. That was IMO 4 down territory to get the first down for at least three more tries at the TD. Worley never should have forced that throw. Hell, he would have been better served to try and pick up the first down by running it himself.

6'5" vs 5'11" and Croom had position on him. There is absolutely no reason that ball should've been intercepted.

Regardless of who is to blame, that was one of the worst offensive line performances I can remember.

It reminded me of the beating we took from Nebraska in in 1997 Orange Bowl. Our line was totally dominated in both games.

Why do we keep running the play where Worley has the option to keep it or hand it off to RB? We hand it off 99% of the time! We need Worley to run with it some, even if he gets 3 yards.

1..Way too much east west against a team with that kind of speed.
2..Will worley ever be able to complete the long ball?
3..Couldn't believe the stats though. Only 5 sacks? Seemed like 20 or more.
4..2 more years.

Croom came to the hill as a big, strong, successful 4* recruit.

He's had injury problems and I still think he can have a breakout season.

I don't see that happening until he learns how to use his big body to shield out defenders consistently and last night was the 1st time I was actually disappointed in him and I said so to those at my house.

I still like the CROOMSTER but it's now time for him to step it up bigtime or he won't see much of the field when Von returns.

Believe me zidanefan, I have no problem with the first int. Croom should be a match up nightmare in those situations and should have come down with that ball. However, I was talking about the second int. that that should have never happened. That was a bad play call. We just had a few good runs and we are facing a 3rd and short on the five. We have two downs to pick up the first down and we go five wide. Worley should have never thrown that pass... better yet, that damn play should have never been called.

Should have been a Vol TD. Had it been North or Pearson it would have been "give him 6"!

He had North open in the end zone. The OU LB just made a great play to tip the ball. It could very easily have been a TD. The only other choice Worley had was to throw it away and kick the FG. Had it been me I would have run it on both 3rd and 4th downs. Didn't have to get but a yard and a half for the 1st down. But given the play call and the game situation I don't fault Worley trying to stick it in that window.

That is the point I was making. The five wide play call was dumb as hell! Worley should have never been put in that position with the stupid ass play call.
