My Journey to Alaska and back....again (and other Army/YankeeVol life adventures)

I probably won’t like anything else after doing this for 16+ years. Plus our mentality isn’t exactly made for other MOS’s. That being said, what I do doesn’t exactly translate to anything in the real world. I’d like to find something that does.
I know lots of grunts who have reclassed to 25. Mostly Bravos and Sierras, but to be fair, I haven’t had a chance to work with many other 25 Series.

Liked for the Orange!:)

Trip over a pencil:por fall outta plane?
Looking good, Yank! What the hell happened
@YankeeVol
Fractured it playing softball last summer. Ended up also tearing a ligament on both the inside and outside that needed to be repaired. A couple bone fragments were removed and just general clean up after nearly 17 years of running, rucking and jumping out of planes.

Ouch! Hope you healing is speedy.

I’m a 25R (becomes Zulu for you, combining with 25V and 25M). We cover the visual information stuff, photos (25V), graphics (25M) and as a Romeo, we’re the technicians behind making sure it all works. I don’t know how much you’d like that, and our field is pretty small and crowded.

The other Signal Corps jobs, though, if you find something interesting are great for good money jobs when you retire. Just a thought.

Signal Corps- you can talk about us, but you can’t talk without us 😉
Signal Corps Captain with 49 years, 3 months in grade.

Of course. If I had to guess I'd say its a 50/40/10 % split (C17/C130/rotary wing)
Being a fun jumper, I've exited with 32 others from a CASA C-212. That's as big as I've got in my log book. The idea of exiting in mass from a C-17 is thrilling to me.
