NASCAR is about 200 times worse than hockey.. i mean.. golf is more exciting to watch...

You can say that again...

Since you don't want to be a Dale Jr. fan, I would go with Tony Stewart. He is the best driver racing today. These young drivers are in Nascar to look good and entertain, not so much for the racing. Most of them have zero personality and are just plain boring to watch race and see interviewed.

Despite the orange & white colors Stewart is an ass. Try Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Casey Mears, Ryan Newman or maybe even Jimmie Johnson (even though I can't stand him).

I think Matt Kenseth is the only guy close to or in the top 15, but might as well jump on the bandwagon on one of the other young guys because they could be in the top 15 soon.

Kurt Busch. Good driver (in a beer sponsored car) always gives you something to watch both on and off the track.

The Busch brothers are both little twirps!!!! Everyone has failed to mention Greg Biffle. He has had a rocky start this year but the year is still young and he ended up 2nd in points last year!!!! He is my second favorite. Im still looking for a #16 sticker for the other side of my truck!lol He drives the National Guard/Subway car. Pretty cool looking when its the NG!! I will try and post a pic later!!

Biffle is cool.

I'll post some pictures of their cars for 2006, freak. Maybe you'll choose a driver based just on the way the car looks. :D

Greg Biffle is another great choice. He is a heck of a driver and is always fun to watch race.

I like Harvick too.

Harvick may drive for Toyota next year, so if you don't like Toyota, don't start rooting for Harvick. LOL

As many of you may know, I am not a big NASCAR fan. However, many have told me that I need to pick a driver to follow and that will make it more fun. Does anyone want to convince me who should be my guy?

First off, I don't see it being Gordon or E. I honestly don't think I want to be on either side of that camp.

This driver should be fairly young. I don't want to start following someone that could retire in a few years. The driver should be a top 15 guy. Nobody wants to pull for someone that always loses.

Suggestions? If so, be sure to give your reasoning and post a pic of the guy and the car if you have one.

:biggrin2:

IMO,you shouldn't take Stewart then either if your'e automatically ruling out Gordon and Little E. Stewart's not up to Gordon's level yet and probably never will be.That is of course unless the most wins and championships aren't inclusive.

If you don't want to go with Dale, Tony would be my next pick in that Big Orange Home Depot Car. Denny Hamlin is also a good choice.

J J Yeley is gonna be good too. Plus he's another Gibbs driver.

Then there's Martin Truex Jr. He's a teammate to Dale Jr.
