1. Fire Hart. He has pretty much pissed off the whole AD, exposed the university to three lawsuits, and mishandled the whole Pat Summit situation. Also, he is a big reason the Defense is in shambles this year. In hindsight he should have extended Wilcox another year.

2. Hire Dooley as AD. I know it sounds crazy, but Dooley gets the business side of athletics, he is an attorney, etc.... Plus he didn't come from Alabama.

3. Hire Gruden or Petrino as HC.

I have a feeling Dooley will want to get as far away from Knoxville as possible. He doesn't strike me as the type that would humble himself and admit he is a failure.

The second concept is very bright. It is not likely to occur, but is really intriguing idea. Dooley may have been challenged in the coaching role, but he should excel in the AD role.

#1&2: At least this would make it seem as though dooley is working a little for his buyout check even though he is still getting a AD paycheck as well. I wouldn't mind this but it will never happen. One could only hope
#3: Leave Petrino out of this. i think he would be a bad hire just cause would the AD ever really trust him. I mean I understand that you got to forgive the man for what he has done and he should get a second chance but at the same time he would be on a tight leash and i could see that causing a problem.

Trust me get Dooley away from UT in any position dealing with people. Legal counsel maybe but certainly not AD. Maybe at UTC.

Agree. Petrino would be a PR risk and he will have to go somewhere like a Kentucky or lower tier program before landing a big job again.

Dooley should not be allowed within a 10 mile radius of this university.

Give him a time to be out of town. See if he can manage the clock for that. He sure can't for a football game.

I say we hire a young up and coming coach that wouldn't require a huge contract that has proved he can coach at some level. Then open the bank and get the best assistant coaches money can buy.
