My "realistic" hope....

My "hope" is that no matter what the score is, that I can be proud of the effort and the physical football being played by the Vols on both sides of the ball. It was always so disheartening to watch a Dooley team lay down once the win got out of reach. "Realistically" good teams never quit. For me to feel like we've turned a corner and are headed back down the right path, I want to hear the pads popping in the 4th quarter, whether it's Tennessee thumping Oklahoma in the 4th, vice versa or a close game.

In summary, I hope Oklahoma's players "feel" it's game with Tennessee on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.

My hope that If we get beat badly, Vol fans don't jump of the ledge. IMO this game isn't the measuring stick we should be going by. There are a lot of teams in the country that can't compete against the top 5 teams. I want to see us compete with and beat some teams ranked between 20-25. That's the real measuring stick considering where we've been. Baby steps people, baby steps.
We almost beat No. 5 Georgia last year and did beat I believe No.11 South Carolina. I believe they finished No.4 in the polls. I don't know how anyone hopes we get blown out. Seriously, what kind of fan says that? You should always hope and believe in a victory.

Wait, my bad. I read it as "is" instead of "if"

I had a dream last night that the Sooners will score exactly as many times as I will Saturday night. Do with that information what you will.

I hope we can establish a running game and we can hit a long pass or two and that we are still in it in the 4th qtr
