Damn fine work Freak. Wife thought I was anal doing a spread sheet using temperature comparisons between rooms in the house. To get a gauge to see what vents were open more.

Funniest thing I have read all day. Great work.:good!:

Switch Kelly and Jackson's %'s for Stokes and Myles. Why in the world does everyone think we have such a good chance with Jackson? I haven't heard him express any amount of interest that makes me optimistic about him. Just one of those guys you hope for but shouldn't expect

I think everybody is thinking Jackson is a surprise and I think Kelly is a good prospect because of Proximity to Knoxville.

Building on the solid base / good work of others from yesterday, please find a revised NSD spreadsheet for your selective use. This version contains several features whcih may prove helpful, or enjoyable. Features contains:

  • "Big Orange Dashboard" is the second of two worksheets, which will automatically calculate an array of interesting information as you enter it into your sheet - all you do is select the player's chosen team from the list and the BOD does the rest!
  • Make and compare your own predictions on each recruit to where they sign an LOI
  • Information on signing times (all EST), leaders, Tennessee's "chances" - all searchable and sortable
  • See the ClassAutomatically track the number of signed players by "Leader", "Offense / Defense", "Position" and other criteria.
  • Color-coded to highlight pertinent information regarding each recruit (i.e. visit dates, team interest, etc.)
  • Utilize lists and drop-down menu's so little (if any) manual data entry is required
Here are the only requests I make to those who use it:

1. The "Likely Leader" sections (and others) are opinions which I've compiled from various public sources or which are largely my own personal opinion. No more, no less. Don't ask me to give you a link to substantiate them, or to name my "inside" source. I can't, and don't have any to name - just one man's opinion.

2. If you see room to improve it, by all means, let me know.....but understand that those suggestions would be for future editions, and not the one you're receiving today. It's "as-is".

3. If there is something that is flat wrong, or information that you have and I didn't list, please tell me and the others. We'll update our sheets, accordingly. I will try to send out a revised sheet sometime later today with the up-to-the-minute news as it unfolds, but please don't wait for me to do it. I think that anyone could do that, if they were so inclined.

SoapBox Moment (Fire At Will, If You Must)
As I've been working on this since 3:30am, a few thoughts occurred to me, and I thought I would pass them along. Heed or ignore them at your pleasure.

Realize that anyone who signs with us today is a Vol, and we're lucky that any one of these young men have chosen our beloved Orange. Period. Five stars, no stars, good "fit", bad "fit", whatever - if they're wearing Orange, they're ours and we're for them.

Also realize that some will go on to super-stardom somewhere else - and that's ok, too. They will never know what it's like to hear 108K fans simultaneously inhale at the moment that the "T" begins to spread, nor what it feels like to get chills as that same breath is then expelled in screams of passion and support. Missing out on that experience is, "punishment" enough without anyone needing to add more to it. If they go elsewhere, wish'em good luck and best wishes wherever they go. Try to mean it, or don't say anything until you do.

Freak & Mods, please use or exclude this spreadsheet or other associated information as you see fit, as is best for the board and its members, or in accordance with any known or unknown board rules which I may have unintentionally violated in its posting.

Also, thanks to Freak and everyone else for the initial sheet(s) of information. They served as the cornerstone of this one, and gave me the idea and jump start to add to it.

Someone just pointed out that the two drop-down lists (SIGNED and PREDICTIONS, Columns A and B, respectively) did not correctly align, so I re-formatted it, and posted it again.

Sorry for the mistake, but the links work now.

I also added the first four recruits to sign this morning, as well as those others already enrolled, brining our NSD total to SEVEN.
