Most of you that read my post game posts last night, know how disgusted i was (am) with the game..I am also a bit perplexed as to why so many are so hell bent on protecting the coaching staff? Theses guys are not made of teflon and are to be held accountable....I wish someone that had a lot of time on their hands, would create a stat that could show how many times teams that were 3rd and long got first downs in the Fulmer/Chavous era..True special teams hurt us last night, but when you have 3rd and long you have got to stop the opposition...Call me quirky, but I do see that as a MAJOR problem...

Coaching?...what?....Coaching? Fulmer let a mid-major coach beat him. Meyer had nothing for Tenn. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Like in the off season, Fulmer had no discipline in this game!

I was actually somewhat impressed with UM. The man definitely has a set of brass balls.

As for our problems, it seems to me to be a motivational thing. If they can't get up for a game against Fla. then we're in for a long season. It's starting to remind me of 02 more and more.

How in the world were you able to get a good night sleep. I kept having nightmares that RS became UTs head coach and then moved on to the AD position.

I suppose if you were an Oklahoma fan, you'd be calling for Stoops' head already? Give me a break.

I wanted to check out to see just how good Florida's defense is and here its is:

pass defense they are number 2 in the country only trailing NC state. Rush defense they are 18 in the country (we are 10), They are number 4 in points allowed.

Now last timed I checked those were some good stats. We went up aginst a hell of a defense last night and moved the ball pretty good.

Now here is my take, Our offense played good enough to win that game. if wilhoit makes that kick we would have went up 10-7. If Britton could have made that kick instead of the fake no way does Florida get a field goal on that drive, and If heffney could catch the ball on the punt, no way the get points on that drive. So really without special teams the score was 10-10. Bet you didn't look at it like that. But last night was a defensive game. After the first touchdown by Florida they didn't see the other side of the field unless it was a turnover by us, . Our offense should have been able to take it into overtime with the way they played yesterday, But special teams ruined that one for us.

Oh yeah for all of yall calling for RS head and saying Trooper should replace him, Trooper IS the ST coach. Take a couple shots at him now if you ain't stuck up his rear end to far.

Thats what I was getting at. Best defense in the nation guys. Give our offense some credit. But by the way NC, we are the best defense yall will play this year too.

I do agree with that....UGA's will be tough..but UT's DL is easily top 5.

yeah and the secondary has greatly improved. I was expecting leak to have 300 yards passing. I forgot all about georgia. Well I know I will proably have to be rooting for georgia in that one...........

I was too...but Meyer played it the right way...pretty conservative and running the clock down. The long drive in the 4th that took over 7 mins off the clock was not typical of the Gators. Glad to see they have the ability now.

Yeah that was impressive. I am not really upset about last night cause I saw exactly what I thought I was going to see and thats why I picked Florida to win. As long as we keep switching out qb's, we wont win this season. Its time to put our faith in ainge and we are going to win with him, or go down swinging with him at the helm. No more of this changing qb BS.

Yeah the QB switching needs to stop...also UF was like 8 of 10 at one point on third down conversions...very high for them. Game was very even.

Game was very very even. Just two plays killed us. No big deal, its not the end of the season and say we go 11-1, No one will remember the loss to Florida. Florida could go undefeated and we have 1 loss, would it look so bad then?

Could happen...I still think UF loses a couple games. Caldwell and Ray Mac injuries were very costly. Especially Mac on the DL where we are already a lil thin.

Yeah forgot about that. I say that with the defense we had, it reminds me alot of the lsu defense in 03. I just hope our offense gets it rolling alittle better next game. Its no big deal we just got to win the next one.

UAB must have the number 3 defense in the country. Vols didn't score on them in the second half either.

Like I said, playing our offense will do wonders for your defense. Something has got to give other than our offense giving the other teams defense great stats.

If Stoops had our talent we would be undefeated like USC, Texas and Vandy.
