Tenn is undefeated against slower paced teams (forgot the exact metric) so there's that.
And the Vols are shooting well. So there's that.

If anyone ever wanted to see an Elite Eight game for ten bucks, this is your chance. Ticket brokers will be crying on the streets. Put the car in D. Take the kids. It’s the cheapest game you’ll ever see.
By ticket brokers do you mean these online stubhubs, seat geeks and ticketmaster things?

Houston is on a 16 game winning streak and 29-1 in their last 30 games. A very impressive run. But when I watch them, I was underwhelmed. I think ZZ and Shack will cause problems to their guards. They don't have much size inside. And the one thing they do well, shoot the 3 ball, we also do well defending.

I think if we start out hot, punch them in the mouth, they may fold. I really think we could beat them by double digits. They haven't felt a hard fought loss in long time. And as we have seen from the tourney, the Big 12 didn't really have any other good teams that match the SECs top 4.
First - You don't do this without being a pretty good team!
Second - But man they are quick, fast handed, and really scrappy and I don't think they will fold any ay all.
Third - I hope you are right, however let's just beat them by one or more!

No. Actual scalpers buy the tickets from losing teams as they exit. Some will sell on Stubhub, but many more available in
person. There were hundreds on the street last night for sale.
Ok so for a scalper though how safe is a transaction? I thought tickets are electronic not like the old days of in hand tickets.

I’m interested how they handle our size. Obviously they’re much better than UCLA but we killed them on the glass and they have a similar Sized roster (minus the 7”3 guy)

Rebound and handle their pressure. The second part really worries me. We don’t handle full court pressure well at all and Houston will put it on you. I suspect that will be the main talking point over the 1.5 days of prep time. If we solve our full court issues, I think we can pull this one out. GBO

If the Tennessee team that showed up yesterday shows up the rest of the way we won't lose another game.
Been hoping for a complete 40 minute game and the Vols showed out last night. Hoping for 3 more efforts like that and we might have something special on our hands. Only downside to last night was our 3 pt shooting but I really think some of that is playing in that dang football stadium. Saw several really bad misses (from us and KY) on corner 3’s which is normally the easiest 3 ball to shoot. Hopefully we got a little more used to it and shoot better Sunday. Expect ZZ and Jahmai to give them fits. Hoping for big games from Chaz and Gainey. GBO!

Brea and Gainey both shooting an air ball from the exact same corner is so weird, that I think you’re right. Probably the geometry of that building throwing off depth perception. Raised floor too.

Yes Felix played great...he got backed down a couple times b/c refs let Williams push and run over everyone and he assaulted Gainey twice great team game GO VOLS!!!!!
I think it was critical that he didn't get in early foul trouble. I don't think he picked one up until late in the first half or early 2nd. With his rim protection, having him on the floor that much was a huge difference and could be tomorrow as well.
