Two men were cured of aids. yes, and a lot more people would’ve died if it was up to fauci. No one has died because they took hydroxychloroquine, a lot died because they were already too far gone sadly.Oh Dallas...
There is no cure for AIDS, and that's common knowledge. Not gonna post a link.
There is no conclusive data on hydroxychloroquine. Some people recovered, and some people died while taking it. I think advising against it while we know nothing about its affects on C-19 is reasonable, and there are currently clinical trials underway to shed some light on its effectiveness. I really hope the European study you mentioned can be replicated by others.
Yeah, and my fiance had breast cancer, and has now been cancer free for about 3 years. That doesn't mean there's a cure for cancer. You'll have to walk me through how you're concluding that a lot of people would not have died if it weren't for Fauci. Two men were cured of aids. yes, and a lot more people would’ve died if it was up to fauci. I guess the point is that you could just let a lot more go. I guess I just don't see the benefit in actively hunting down his every word looking for fallacies. The last several examples of it, I've seen, just seem petty. I probably should have just stayed silent on the issue. I'm not interested in a multi-page debate over it, so forget I mentioned it.And what’s sad is that I let a good majority of them go, you are too intelligent to think that this latest Dallas opinion is even halfway intelligent.
I definitely don’t hunt his, there’s been a few in the last several months, majority of which have come recently which probably has something to do with things being slow. No debate to be had, that stance of “well they’ve done it a long time that way, why change” was just pretty ignorant imo and I felt like replying.I guess the point is that you could just let a lot more go. glad she beat it. A pretty interesting study that came out a few hours ago.Yeah, and my fiance had breast cancer, and has now been cancer free for about 3 years. I'm not saying that people died because of the drug, but several have while using it. Here's a link from freaking Fox News that may surprise you.
COVID-19 treatment hydroxychloroquine showed no benefit, more deaths in VA virus study
Thank you! In relation to your link, I really do wonder if she also came down with it in December. Her symptoms did seem similar, but we thought it was the flu. She did have a dry cough, but it wasn't super severe.G

I know I don’t want to read any of the petty bickering that regularly pollutes VN, but I have to sort through it to find reasonable opinions and UT sports information. Don’t understand why anyone cares enough about Dallas’ opinions on Covid-19 to respondI guess the point is that you could just let a lot more go. I'd say that most of the regulars here see Dal as a bro and won't leave him hanging. We disagree sometimes, but our blood runs orange, and is that what it's all about?I know I don’t want to read any of the petty bickering that regularly pollutes VN, but I have to sort through it to find reasonable opinions and UT sports information. I’m certainly not one of the main posters to the bball forum, but I have been reading it Since the Conzo years and occasionally post so I have a decent feel for the more frequent posters and know Dallas’ history here along with some of the light hearted teasing. I still don’t come to the bball forum to read his or others opinions concerning the pandemic then to have 15 more posts attacking or defending that view....there are other forums on VN for those types of debate if that’s your interest. I also appreciate BTO’s info he brings but grow weary of his propensity of arguing with other posters. But if the arguments are bball related then this is the right forum, otherwise Please debate/argue non bball topics on the appropriate forums. Thanks and I will end my “stay off my grass” rant. TIFWIW, JMHO, AARPI'd say that most of the regulars here see Dal as a bro and won't leave him hanging. We disagree sometimes, but our blood runs orange, and is that what it's all about?
And LSU could pass us if they add Cisse. Not that those rankings really matter, but it does show the talent in the conference is improving.Greg Brown signed with Texas, so that is another swing and a miss for Bruce Pearl (with Jalen Green heading to the G League). Auburn still has a good class with Sharife Cooper and JT Thor, but they should be taking a step back next season.
As of right now, 5 of the top 7 teams in the 247 sports 2020 team recruiting rankings are from the SEC. I've never seen that in basketball before... and LSU is just behind us, which just stinks to high heaven.
It was bound to happen when you have a member institution "paying more than the rookie minimum".And LSU could pass us if they add Cisse. Not that those rankings really matter, but it does show the talent in the conference is improving.
I put Belichick and Saban in the same box, great coaches. Can’t stand either, root against them, but have to give them props. One of my sweetest victories was 2006 AFC championship game when my Colts came all the way back to beat him and the Pats. The Vols need to do that by beating Bama in Atlanta.A person can have any opinion they want but I just happen to base mine on facts. I hate Bill Belicheck with a passion but I'm not gonna get up on some soapbox like a dumbass and say he isn't that good of a coach.
Here's Joe Lunardi of ESPN's latest bracketology. He has Tennessee as a #5 Seed playing Loyola-Chicago in the opening game of the 2021 NCAA Tournament in Providence. It would be nice to get revenge on Loyola-Chicago!
