I agree with this, but I would prefer the Volunteer Army as it has a broader meaning. It can still reference Neyland, but would also include reference to the whole state and the historical bravery, fierceness and tenacity that TN is known for.
Man, it's kinda sad that we are using gimmicks to keep any kind of excitement in our football program. We are MSU 2.0 Just call us the "Hail Tri-Star Staters." I liked it in the 90's when everyone just called us the "Tennessee Volunteers" who win games.
