I looked this up the other day. CCM's buyout is 60% of his remaining salary. He makes around $1.3 million. If we buyout his contact this year it will cost around $1.56 million. Next year it drops to around $750k if he doesn't get an extension.

That has better facilities and resources than UT does. Even KY doesn't have facilities that match what we have. Why should we settle for second rate coaching with what we have to offer? Bruce Pearl is the first coach since Ray Mears to bring excitement and actually make us relevant in basketball. Dave Hart is going to have a really tough decision to make in March. Is he going to settle for middle of the road results or is he going to get serious about making us relevant once again?

Not a psychic , but know enough to realize that if we don't start winning some of these "resume" games, we'll be sitting at about 20 wins come tourney time and on the bubble with not enough quality wins to get in the " real" tourney. How are you going to like these marbles once again?
