Hard to pick against the Gators. They appeared to be hitting their stride again in the SEC tourney. Got them beating Georgetown for the NC.
Yeah, Gators look good. But I also can't help but feeling play in the SEC has slipped a bit, and the Gators aren't quite as good as everybody is making them out to be. That said, they do have a very soft path to the Elite Eight.

I picked Texas. I treated my pick sheet more like a Ouija board than a pick sheet, though. I just kinda went round-by-round, game-by-game, picking off the top of my head in about two seconds.

Roy Williams never coached in back to back finals. Also, losing to UTEP and Rhode Island aren't exactly shining entries on one's NCAA resume.

neither are bradley and bucknell. williams also has 5 final four appearances, has coached the national runner-up twice, and won a national championship.

as for self's postseason accomplishments, let's see what he does this year. i'll admit that taking tulsa to the elite 8 was impressive, but when you consider the talent he has had at illinois and kansas, i feel that he should have a final four to his credit by now.

I've got Georgetown. Hibbert was unstoppable against Pitt the other night. I would enjoy watching him punish Yannick Noah's kid, should Florida get that far.
PItt is the most overrated team in the country. Grey is overrated. he's just big thick waste of space at times and Hibbert, while looking great, anyone could have looked equally as good against him those last two games. Pitt shouldn't have beaten Marquette in the semi's.....when that game was over, i was like "how'd they do that?" having said that G town is good and i have them in the final.......
Yeah, the fact he got Tulsa and Illinois to the Elite Eight proves that.
don't let the facts get in the way of a good story....
florida over georgetown
great minds think alike. i've got KU and FL on side and A&M and G Town on the other....FL over Gtown....i think A&M can give OSU a big time run, especially if they can get Oden in foul trouble...

1.Your right, they're both better than UTEP and URI..

2.And don't worry, he'll be in Atlanta in a few weeks.

uri and utep were 8 and 9 seeds, respectively.

bradley and bucknell were 13 and 14, respectively.

i'm not going to try to argue about which teams were better, but roy williams lost to those teams in the second round, bill self lost in the first to lower seeded teams.

Fantastic. Thanks for clarifying past events. Now, please allow me to clarify as well. I meant 'maybe the Vols will lose early again so you'll have more evidence to support your argument that Bruce Pearl is a poor tournament coach.'
