things will pick up after Talladega. after next weekend, the next off week i believe is either before or after the Brickyard.
that's why they made Darlington a night race.
but i'm with you. bump the schedule up a weekend and take Mother's Day weekend off.
honestly, i have no answer.
the NASCAR schedule has baffled me for years.
This season just seems weird to me. All the top drivers are struggling (sorta) and Edwards just keeps on winning. He's not a bad driver but there are several better.

Like Bristol in early March? Also why have so many long hauls together, i.e. Vegas, Texas, Phoenix, California. It is not like they can stay out there, they have to drive back & forth each time, plus the time spent flying the team members. I would think it would be better to spread the long hauls through out the schedule.
yet another reason i'm upset with NASCAR. Laugh at me if you want, but at heart I'm a momma's boy and Momma's day is supposed to be spent with momma. Not driving around in circles.

that has got to be a logistical nightmare. i couldn't even begin to describe all the issues i could think of for making that work.
most crew member fly commercial and stay in hotel rooms. only the drivers and car owners hop around in choppers and private jets.
and yeah, they run multiple haulers all around the country. they used to come through at work and i'd talk to the truck drivers and hear stories about making it work. they run pretty tight schedules. not saying they don't get a routine down and run it efficiently, but in the trucking industry trouble is always right around the corner.
i assumed the crew travels commercially, but it's still not hard to find a flight from anywhere to Atlanta and then onto Charlotte. It's not even that hard to get right into Charlotte. Obviously it's tight, but I was just pointing out that one trucker isn't driving around all over the place non stop.
well that brings up another reason to spread these races out, save the expense of having two complete setups. You not only have to have 2 trucks, but 2 completely equipped trailers with everything needed for a race weekend.
Could be. One team one half the races last year and wasCompetition? You must be watching different races than me.
