With the recent success of Vandy fb with Franklin and even with Corbin's baseball team, there are more Vandy fans coming out of the woodwork. Its like when Bama and Florida rose back up and they came out from under rocks. In the end, Nashville is and will always be a Vol city. When you have a radio station having to defend itself because Vandy fans complain that all they here is Vol talk, there's your proof. If there was enough chatter about Vandy, more stations would talk about them. They don't.

Definitely UT. Its just Vandy fans are just so in your face about it the past few years.

What did Nixon say... The silent majority?

Edit: I'm from Nashville

Every time I've been to see the Vols play on West End there has been more orange in the stadium than black and gold.

this

Its also one of the reasons they moved the game back to Dudley field from LP. Going to a bigger stadium just meant more orange in the stands.

Have lived in Nashville since 1980. TENNESSEE fan base solid here despite the recent turmoil. Vandie fans sometimes whine loud enough to be a nuisance, but there's no substance to their pathetic droning. Miss the days when we took over Centennial Park & marched across West End to take over their pathetic stadium.

Absolutely more vol fans, the Vandy fans are just "louder." Bless their hearts, winning is new to them so they can't really "act like they've been there before."

When our VOLs play Vandy in Nashville, there are more Tennessee fans attending the game than there are Vandy fans in total, so i say Tennessee.

fyp

Born in the Mid-state and lived in and around Nashville all my life. There is just a smattering of candy fans around here. To listen to them after the last two years though, you would think we had not won a game against them in 50 years. I will really enjoy this year when Butch puts them back in their place and the team stomps the hell out of candy.

Vols. I still remember a kid bringing a Vandy watch to school (in Brentwood) and getting bullied because of it.

Lived in Nashville my whole life. It's Tennessee and it's not even close. 104.5 has numerous segments dedicated to the Vols on every one of their shows. Vandy might have a couple of segments a week. Nashville is all Vol! Even the Vandy fans know it.

They just went through they're best stretch of football in forever and still couldn't sell out they're little stadium unless they play the Vols, and that's just because there was more of us than Vandy fans! So tell your buddy that. That was one of CJF biggest complaints.

Still mostly Vols, but the landscape has definitely changed over the last 15 years. Lots of more SEC fans there now, especially bammers

Many many cars have Bama license plate decor in Nashville these days; also noticed some FSU stuff for the first time since the late 90s early 2000s. Funny how that works. I've always only supported the vols and will forever, I truly don't get how the bandwagon mentality operates.
