Nashville fans

Vandy can't fill up a 38,000 seat stadium. Tennessee has trouble getting everyone into a 102,000 stadium. Probably 30% of Neyland fans are from Middle Tennessee.

I lived a little South of the Nashville area in Lincoln, Franklin, Moore, Coffee counties and I never remember talking to a Commodore fan, not even the band.

Vandy might have the fifth largest Nashville contingent after UT, Bama, UK, and UGA. Wouldn't shock me if there were more Auburn fans. Maybe even Ole Miss.

I live in Nashville. The Vol fans exist, but are not plentiful. Tons of people streaming in from out of state. Nashville is in the top 25 cities in the country now, population wise.

Was at Vandy yesterday for the wifes monthly visit (wife had a transplant). Her regular Doctor had an intern with her, introduced us and left the room. The intern started asking questions and when we started to reply, she pulled a little notebook out of her pocket to take notes. The notebook was white with a power T on it. Needless to say, I chuckled.

2 star, but a diamond in the rough according to vandymania. Not to mention that they are ecstatic. We really need to beat the dog crap out of that crappy program. Forever.

If you are beating out Youngstown then you ain't beating out anybody.

This past class for them, they stole two away from App state. Let me tell you, they all can't be diamonds in the rough. Franklin left and so did the recruiting. Also, they prolly aren't letting in as many questionables anymore due to the "rape scandal that no one has ever heard about" from two years ago.

Having lived most of my life in Nashville, I know without a doubt that there are more Tennessee fans and more MTSU fans than there are Vandy fans in Nashville. There are probably as many Tennessee State fans in Nashville as there are Vandy fans.

Hope your wife is doing well.

I have a similar story. I recently moved to the Murf from Bristol. I looked around for a new primary care dr. and at my first visit I sat in his office for a few minutes and noticed that his office was UT orange and on the corner of his degree (from Vandy) was a Big Orange Power T. On the lapel of his lab coat was an orange VFL pin.

I thought it was hilarious.
