I wonder if that $4.2M is carefully defined for his time at Tennessee?

In other words, if he works hard and gets to the NBA after one year, he was worth it to Tennessee.

AND if he gets injured (or underperforms) and needs a second year at Tennessee to merit top NBA draft money... then that single amount over two years instead of over one year would still reflect his value to Tennessee.

Thank you for sharing. Great story....this is the type of top talent I want. If Barnes can re-load like this yearly with a blend of top portal and unselfish HS recruits then I hope he coaches to 80. DK and Chaz have really boosted the already great perception of Barnes coaching by giving an updated and expanded "Durant pitch".
