I'm sure the fact that Chaney is his OC had noting to do with NP getting named the starter. He recruited him to UT when he was the OC, and always spoke very highly of him.

Nathan Peterman is now the starting QB at Pitt. I'm happy for this young man. He gave everything he had for TN and was thrust into some very difficult situations and things just didn't work out. They did that because that's what Butch taught them to do. I guess he forgot that there is a QB behind them that they are supposed to protect. So Butch helped Peterman get injured and destroyed his confidence too. I still think Peterman is a much better QB than what we saw here.
